The boat is run by local staff and the tour guide is also local.
On the trip we collect all waste and take care of the environment. Bottles for recycle will be recycled. We will not throw our waste in the sea, it will be stored in black plastic bags during the trip and the waste will be disposed when we get back to the mainland.
At Koh Kood we support conservation programs. This is not littering on the island to prevent pollution, safe water and electricity. Our staff is aware of this and instruct our customers when they check in. We have a big water tank collecting rainwater, this water will be used for showers at the pool and in the rooms. If there is no rain for a long period we will use underground water, but it will be filtered and reused for our pond on the resort.
In connection with the seasafari we have a local house in Trat for staff to stay when there is no trip. This house is locally owned.
The food during the trip will be bought in Trat town, some from the market, some from the grocery store. We have one person employed in Trat to do all the shopping and planning for us. The salary will support her and her family.
We have a generator to produce our own electricity as the electricity on Koh Kood is very unstable. That means that there will be no electricity from 11.00 until 16.00 everyday.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
