Our company support local communities by providing trainings on sustainable tourism criteria and tourism services ensuring minimal social and environmental impact in the places we visit. Also, in every destination, we not only cost the entrances fees but we ensure as well an extra donation to support the local communities to keep improving their services and sustain their families through responsible tourism. We encourage travellerīs to give voluntary contributions to historic and archeological sites via contributions to local NGOs working to conserve cultural areas on site.
All the activities have been carefully chosen offering only the ones performed by local guides. They are also the people in charge of protecting the park and ensure you enjoy the trip while you discover the natural protected areas. When you are taking these tours you are contributing to the El Imposible National Park and Santa Rita protected area to increase their income and keep promoting sustainable tourism. You are contributing to preserve these natural protected areas and encouraging locals to protect the biodiverisity of the regions by paying local entrances and giving an extra contribution to the park and the NGOs that support them. You are also helping local communities to beneficiate from responsible travel.
The hotels chosen are eco friendly hotel that are actively contributing to protect the environment. The EcoLodge at El Imposible is part of the NGO that give technical guidance to the local rangers. All the income is benefiting the organization.
A responsible code of conduct is given by the local guides on site. What the travellerīs must do of course is not to take any garbage to the park and if they do so, they have to be aware to bring it back to the city to avoid contamination. Also, by the simple fact of entering the park, travellers are helping to mantain the park as the entrances are charged by the NGO that supports the park and protects it.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
