Our Promise in delivering a Responsible Tour:
Community Support: over 90% of camp staff are from the local community therefore your holiday empowers and enriches the community within which we operate our camps. In addition to this, the foundation supports the Koyiaki Guiding School; the only guiding school in Mara.
Fair-trade: the Maasai Brand (BMB) promotes women groups from the local community in developing and retailing their exquisite beaded merchandise. Visit our gift shops where you will find unique gifts.
Conservation: We coordinate various conservation projects such as wildlife conservation projects (Cheetah, Elephant, Lion, Vulture, etc).
Climate change & sustainable energy: We are committed to using sustainable energy sources through educating members of the local community as solar technicians and the use of solar energy.
Leave a Positive Footprint: Reduce your carbon footprint by planting trees at Mara, support community outreach projects aimed at empowering school children through scholarships and improve the livelihoods of local communities through health centres and water supply.
Reuse & recycle: All plastic is collected and transported for recycling off-site and bio-degradable waste is converted to compost for our vegetable garden.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
