Environment
Safe environment for Caretta Carettas: The ultimate threat to the survival of the loggerhead sea turtle is on these sandy beaches where its life begins. This has caused an international conservation effort that began in the 1990s. The struggle to protect loggerhead sea turtle eggs and to promise a safe breeding ground for this endangered species has made international headlines. Ever since May 2009 there has been a sea turtle centre at the coast, run by the Biology Dpt. of Pamukkale University. The staff and volunteers patrol the beach and keep records during the breeding season. Injured turtles found at the beach or at the estuary are taken to the centre for treatment and rehabilitation. This issue is one of the most critical subject on Turkey's ecological agenda and as a tour operator we support these efforts to preserve the turtle’s habitat.
We are UK based independent tour operator who solely specialise in Turkey. In our London office we limit our trash and use recycled/recyclable products.
As an eco-friendly tour operator we work with different environmental organisations, human rights groups and local community groups in order to promote sustainable tourism and ethical holidays in Turkey. Some of our partners are Mokugift of the UNEP Billion Tree Campaign, Climate Care and the World Land Trust. We also support The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds campaigning to secure a healthy environment for birds and wildlife.
This is a small group tour and we only accept a maximum number of 16 people on this tour to minimise environmental impact upon this area of Turkey.
We are working closely with a non profit organisation in Dalyan whose aim to raise awareness with the public and the visitors for the sustainable development of the ecological diversity. We provide contact details of this organisation if our guests like to make a donation.

Community
Local experts: We are the recognized professional in adventure tours and activities in the Dalyan region. We specialise in providing a wide range of fun day-activities and multi-day trips in this area. Our local partners are expert in the use of sea-kayaks, mountain bikes and 4WD vehicles and know many little-known paths to small, hidden villages, enabling us to show you a different side to rural Turkey.
Tradition and Culture: The role of our tour guides is not only to make sure everything runs efficiently, but to impart, in a fun way, something of the traditions and culture of the region and its people, ensuring you come away with knowledge about what you have seen and the people you have met.
Role of local partners: Our eco-friendly small hotel is run by a local family who will do everything to give our visitors a comfortable, warm stay in Dalyan. Special trained staff from local people is always helpful to give more information about anything you like. The number of activities we use for this holiday; such as relaxing boat cruises, special jeep safaris, road cycle tours, mountain bike tours, trekking, sea kayaking, rent a car with private driver and intensives are all run by our local partners.
Strong connections with local communities: All our guests have a great trip, no worries about the transfer, clean accommodation, caring staff, gorgeous tours and above all good memories about Dalyan. Dalyan is located in an ecologically protected area, which includes the stunning Köycegiz Lake, historical Caunos, and Iztuzu coast, used by turtles for egg laying. As an eco-friendly tour operator we pride ourselves on organizing our trips and activities in an responsible way, giving full respect for the environment, enjoying it but not damaging it. Over many years we have put together strong connections with local communities and small businesses and as a result we now with the help of our guests, provide an important income to some of these people, supporting the local rural economy in new ways.
