Travelling responsibly is important to our company. We travel in small groups, employ experienced local tour guides and have formal and casual links with local communities. 'Local' is important to our company and to our clients. One of the primary goals of our Community Trust is to support projects and initiatives that advance local education and local employment within the tourism and hospitality industry. We've worked with and trained local leaders for more than 10 years now. In the Morocco we work with a small local ground operator owned by a woman and largely run by women. We are proud to have worked with such a progressive organization for several years.
This trip spends takes you on a camel ride into the edge of the Sahara Desert for a night, where we camp overnight in a traditional desert camp and enjoy the lively music and dancing provided by our Berber hosts, under a blanket of stars. The next night we continue this local experience and stay overnight in a Berber house the M'goun valley providing them with our guaranteed business.
We also offset our carbon emissions. We think that since it’s our tours that created the emissions then it’s our responsibility to do something about them; we don’t think it’s fair to simply transfer our responsibility to you. We work with Climate Care to use Gold Standard carbon offset projects (or accredited equivalent) to offset our emissions.

You can trust responsibletravel.com reviews because, unlike many other schemes, reviews can ONLY be written by people who we have verified have been on the holidays. In addition, we don't run these holidays ourselves - our only interest is giving you the best independent advice.
