The most memorable part of our trip was most likely the scenery we loved the mountains and woodlands. The next was the food as Nick is no doubt an excellent chef and Dasha a specialist with deserts.

(more)I loved this little farm and the people who run the B&B. It was in a lovely spot by a stream...I loved my time in the area of the B&B. (more)The peace and tranquillity were sublime. A lovely property with all the mod cons (even a coffee machine) however in wonderful rural surrounds. The garden of the property was a delight. (more)Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)Pretty good: if the area were more interesting we'd certainly go back to that cottage, as it was very good for 2 adults and 2 room-dwelling teenagers. But a week was enough for that part of Donegal. Very enjoyable... We really enjoyed a trip to a lake called 'Hintersee' nearby as it wasn't very touristy. Try to take the path less trodden. Our hosts showed us the clean and well appointed apartment room by room before inviting us onto the roof terrace for a breathtaking view of the canyon.
