Big game safari in Tanzania
Superb: it exceeded our expectations. Watching a herd of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. It was a truly astonishing, primal sight. (more)Sheila Brooks
The time spent on Chumbe was so relaxing in on idyllic paradise Island & with it's eco ethics it is a place with a truly great purpose. (more)Becky Jones
Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala. (more)Joanne Davenport
From £2775 - £2895 excluding flights
Kenya wildlife camping safari
We were of course expecting to enjoy seeing the wildlife, but our week's holiday provided much more than that. The Porini camps we stayed at were wonderful - eco-friendly, lovely setting on private conservancies, employing people from the local Massai communities. (more)Anna Economides
This was the best vacation I have ever taken! I tell everyone to just go. (more)Amanda Popik
From £1575 excluding flights
Luxury camping safari in Botswana
Every part of every day was special in some way. Of course seeing really wild animals in the really wilds the best bit. (more)Jill Jesson

Kilimanjaro Climb, safari & Zanzibar holiday
Memorable parts? Too many to mention! Highlights - getting to the top of Kilimanjaro and Serengeti safari! Tips? Do your research. We tweaked our holiday quite a bit and the main aim was to climb Kilimanjaro - had we not researched and as such altered the original itinerary by adding an extra day - we would NOT have made it to the top - which would have soured the rest of the trip which was to go on safari and finish in Zanzibar. Local benefits? Yes - we had sixteen people... (more)Angie Koufou

Garden Route holiday, tailor made, South Africa

The Drakensberg mountains and Didima camp at Cathedral Peak provided a magical start to the holiday, with stunning scenery, fantastic hiking and lovely accommodation; we could easily have stayed much longer there. (more)Barbara Sykes

Tanzania holiday, safari, culture and wildlife 7 days
Very good...I enjoyed both the safari in Serengeti and the diving in Mafia very much (more)Marina Poletto
Fantastic! Amazing! Awe inspiring! The trip of a lifetime! Our most memorable moments were our interactions with the local people. Even though we booked this safari to see the Serengeti, we also wanted to make sure we spent an equal amount of time visiting and getting to know the people of Tanzania. We will forever hold in our hearts how warm and inviting everyone was. (more)Teresa VandenBosch
Fantastic. It was the perfect family holiday with a 12 year old and 14 year old. Always plenty to do, loads of variety, but never rushed. (more)Rebecca Rowland

Gorilla Safari & the Masai Mara
Every day was fabulous always something different... travelling with like minded people was also a good thing. (more)Valerie Koppi
Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. (more)Mark Asquith
It was excellent. I would go again tomorrow... it was such a fabulous trip from the start in Kigali to the end in Nairobi. Seeing the gorillas was obviously so special and memorable and the rafting in jinja was an unexpected highlight. Also the people in my group and our fabulous exodus team who were to efficient, friendly, patient and organised. (more)Sally Knowles-Jackson

Five stars! It was, as stated, the adventure of a lifetime, which we were expecting, but we did not plan to gain so much more, in the way of making friends and feeling a part of missions that transcended mere tourism. (more)Tania Modleski
From £2250 - £2850 excluding flights

Namibia and Botswana safari holiday
Best bits: There were so many memorable moments it's hard to pick just one: walking up Dune 45 early in the morning, watching the animals at the water holes in Etosha, staying in a tree house! (more)Janice Capstick
We had fantastic animals encounters in several places including Mosi oa Tunya, Mahango, Etosha and Chobe. The walking safari in Mosi oa Tunya was very special, we got great views of giraffe and white rhinos on foot. The landscape and animals at Etosha are just breath taking, we saw lions there and many other animals and birds. (more)Richard Stansfield
Fantastic! We loved every minute of it. Guides were lovely people, very good at their job and we enjoyed the team working aspect of group participation in cooking and camp activities. (more)Rachel Guinee

Okavango Delta tailor made safari in Botswana
Memorable parts? Up close and personal with the wild animals on safari Tips? Can be cold on the morning game drives and take DEET insect repellent. Don't have too high expectations of animal sightings and then everything is a real treat. Local benefits? Very eco friendly, solar power and recycling etc. All staff were locals and seemed to really enjoy their work. Overall rating? Excellent. Not cheap but we didn't need to spend any extra money except for tips and... (more)Janet Gaten

Selous Game Reserve safari, Tanzania
Most memorable was having such close contact with the animals as the lodges were not enclosed. In Ruaha River Lodge a male elephant crossed the river while we sat watching from our verandah and went beside our house to wander round the lodge. (more)Sheila Lucas
There were too many moments, the entire trip was memorable and exciting. I absolutely adored Sable Mountain Lodge, it was beautiful and relaxing. (more)Lisa Schooley
Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize. (more)Jo Maw
From £2570 - £2755 excluding flights
Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley
From £3495 - £3930 excluding flights
Okavango Delta safari in Botswana
The highlight was seeing wildlife at really close quarters - the time the leopard strolled through our camp. (more)Lis Woods
The holiday was fantastic, wildlife great, the food excellent and although no mod cons you soon realise how little we really need to live day to day and how much we take for granted over here. A very satisfying holiday. Would go again. (more)John/Cathy Baldock
The most memorable part of the holiday was the locations of the campsites. Right there in the midst of the wildlife... we drifted off to sleep to the sounds of hippo's deep bellied chuckles, lion's roars and elephant's trumpeting. Magical! (more)Janet Hammond
From £2949 - £3029 including UK flights
Cape Town to Victoria Falls small group camping safari
Memorable parts? Every day was a different wonder but the two days wild camping at the Okavanga Delta were really special. Tips? Be prepared for very early starts and not much relaxing times. Local benefits? Yes, local guides were used in a number of locations but obviously driving such long distances is not exactly environmentally friendly. Overall rating? Excellent. (more)christina monson

Uganda gorilla tracking and wildlife safari holiday
Memorable parts? The main highlight of our trip to Uganda had to be seeing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. It's an experience hard to describe ... exciting, magical and definitely unforgettable. But the holiday provider had put together a trip for us with many other memorable activities. Tracking chimpanzees, visiting the source of the Nile and the spectacular Murchison Falls, crossing the equator, going on game drives and bush walks in a number of the National Parks ... Murchinson... (more)Simon Seaton

Memorable parts? Getting up close and personal with the animals both on safari, especially in Ndutu where it is possible to off road, but also in the tented accommodation where we were surrounded by frolicking vervet monkeys, bush babies, mongooses and even a herd of elephants on one particularly memorable morning! Tips? Opt for the tented accommodation options - they were our favourites. Local benefits? We were pleased that the company was Kenyan-owned, and that we were... (more)Natalie Sayers

Memorable parts? The company were very flexible when preparing the trip and send us all the information we needed on a timely manner. All the lodges were very nice and the organization was really good. Memorable parts? Too many to mention but the safari parts of the holiday were certainly the highlight. Tips? Take a pair of binoculars - and good ones - we had one less good pair but we were very glad we were not fighting to see the animals also take more memory cards for your camera than you think you will need. Local benefits? Everywhere we stayed was environmentally aware and hugely educational for us and the local population. Overall rating? Absolutely life changing... (more)alice crawley

All of the animals - first we saw the 'big five' and many many others! The most astonishing thing was the number of animals and their proximity. Far closer contacts than we had ever considered!! Absolutely bloody brilliant!!!!!!!!!! (more)Angela Gliddon
If you want adventure and excitement and an experience to remember forever then you will love it. (more)Kathy Miles
For animal lovers, it's paradise... We saw the big 5. The unbelievable amount of times we saw lions, some right at the side of the road seemingly oblivious to our vehicle and not one, but three leopards and two cheetahs. Beautiful. (more)Carole Charlesworth
