Bali eco lodge bungalows in Indonesia
I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons. Why? Because this holiday is so wonderful I'd rather keep it a secret! Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave. (more)Daphne Donkin
Most memorable was walking through the rice-fields... It was just great. (more)Astrid Dello

A knockout. (more)David McRae

If we had to name a specific high I think it'd have to be the private river cruises that we went on from the Abai Jungle Lodge. They were each so magical, romantic and different - I can't describe how wonderful they made us feel. Thailand tailor made holiday, elephants, jungle & beach
Memorable parts? The whole experience will be memorable as we did such a variety of activities but for me the highlight was the 2 days spent at The Thai Elephant House. The owner Jo and his team were all so welcoming and spent time explaining their ethos and the way they care for the elephants and we were lucky enough to stay overnight, so as well as spending a lot of time with the elephants and their mahouts, we also got to cook a delicious Thai meal at night. Japan golden route holiday
Memorable parts? We enjoyed it all. The travel arrangements all worked perfectly. Hotels were fine. Amy at the tour operator was terrific. Tips? 6 hour day tour of Tokyo was a bit stressful for seniors, in the amount of stairs and walking particularly between subways. The guide could have given us more options for traveling.
