We particularly enjoyed the visit to Woodleigh Cattle Station, and with Maggie as our personal guide for three days around the Tablelands, the whole experience was hugely enriched by her knowledge of the flora and fauna and much more. (more)

Kimberley holidays in Western Australia
Camping under the stars in Purnalulu National Park under the most amazing sky I have ever seen and being woken by dingoes howling and calling to each other in early morning. The wildflowers were everywhere. It was an amazing time to travel. (more)

Tasmania tours, discovery tours
It was great. I have never felt healthier and more relaxed. In fact, not washing for several days was rather liberating! Walking through beautiful rainforests and seeing wildlife without cages was the most memorable part.  (more)

Adelaide to Alice Springs tour, Australia
Most memorable? The wonderful walks - canyons, gorges, other natural features - that revealed to us the natural riches of the Outback, from birds and other creatures to the land itself. (more)

We spent one night in Strahan and had a great time at the show ‘the ship that never was’. (more)

Celebrate 30 years of Tasmanian World Heritage Wilderness with this Free Tasmania app for iPhone

QR code30 years ago the Tasmanian Southwest Wilderness was listed as a World Heritage Site, the only place on earth to fulfil seven out of the ten criteria, bringing to a successful conclusion a world wide campaign that saw environmental activists protesting to save Tasmania's natural heritage from being sold down the river.

To celebrate this landmark decision that put Tasmania on the eco-tourism map, Tourism Tasmania (in association with responsibletravel.com) is inviting travellers to explore the diverse natural wilderness with a unique iPhone app that showcases the best that Tassie has to offer.
