Tobago beach accommodation
Excellent, one of our best yet. (more)Lisa Williams
This is an amazing place to hang out and bond with those you love. Beautiful, relaxing and a place you will hope to return to. (more)JUDITH DOYLE
The view from the accommodation was just amazing. The food was delicious and just the general relaxed vibe of the area and it's people!...10/10 without a doubt! Best holiday we've had! (more)Helen Youngman
From £85 - £225 per accommodation per night
Costa Rica eco lodge in a private reserve
Incredible - the lodge and its views over the mountains and forest were breathtaking and we had the most relaxing time. We will definitely be staying at the lodge again if we are ever back in Costa Rica. (more)Elfie Burgess
They create all their own electricity with a small hydro-turbine... virtually ALL the work done on this coffee plantation is by the owners and locals. They have many LONG TERM employees because they treat them very well, from what I saw and understood. They are also re-foresting pasture land. Most of everything we ate was grown there except a few things they get from local farmers. (more)Korte Yeo
A fabulous situation , beautiful rooms, great service all round... We spent two weeks there and enjoyed every moment .Great thanks to the owners and their parents. (more)patrick heffron
From US $160 - US $225 per room per night (sleeps 2)
Provence boutique hotel in Arles, France
Our room was a good size, air con (we were there in August) and clean. The pool was just right too. Location is excellent - far better than being in one of the towns. Meals are eaten outside in the evenings and several (including us) suggested they modified the lighting. (more)Trevor Waller
The scenery in Provence is stunning. It was really pleasurable just driving around. My favourite place was probably Pic Saint Loup where we went to visit a couple of vineyards, including Morties which was just stunning and the wine was remarkable!...Very enjoyable stay. It worked well for us. (more)Ania Nowicki
Most memorable? Without a doubt horseriding in the Camargue, from the Paul Ricard Centre at Mejanes, was the highlight of the holiday. We even managed to persuade my 87 year old Father-in-Law to give it a try for the first time in his life! (more)Anthony Leggett
From €80 per room per night
Hotel in The Gambia
it was a fantastic experience...The hotel was very good (only 8 rooms) and the food was excellent. (more)Julie Griffiths
Definitely a place of calm and serenity, a real find of a hotel, away from the usual tourist spots...Thoroughly pleasant and relaxing stay - a little oasis. (more)Jackie Hoare
The Gambian people were probably the most memorable part of a trip which included many exciting moments including spotting amazing birds, holding snakes, watching the fiddler crabs in the mangrove swamps and seeing wild baboons. (more)Ellie Phillips
From £57 - £87 per person per night incl breakfast
Kasbah du Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains
Absolutely brilliant...The hospitality and friendliness of the staff at Kasbah du Toukbal. The stunning views from the dining room. The amazing lunches high on the mountains and relaxing on a mattress after lunch before continuing the trek. Great guide and a schedule tailored completely to our needs. We were looked after so well. (more)James Osborn
Excellent -- would thoroughly recommend it! (more)Faizullah Parkar
Very interesting and mostly enjoyable, it felt good not to be mere spectator tourists, but to feel we were contributing to their environment albeit for a short time. (more)Alison Fowles
From €65 - €220 per person per night
Faralya boutique hotel, near Oludeniz
Memorable parts? A small boat trip on the turquoise coast and watching the sun set every night from our balcony. Small compact and bijou with some much fruit and veg locally produced and good (if repetitive) food. Also very much enjoyed exploring some of the many ancient ruined cities. Tips? There are more bees than you can imagine so those with a sting allergy be aware, there must be 40,000 hives in this area of Turkey which is the major honey producing area! We had no problems... From €235 - €315 per room per night (sleeps 2)
Siolim hotel in Goa, India
This accommodation is a visually beautiful Portuguese villa, traditionally furnished in Portuguese style with enormous, high-ceilinged rooms in lush, well-kept gardens. It is perfect for anybody who is happy to make their own enjoyment. (more)Tony Lee
All employed staff come from the village and demonstrate competence, attention and kindness. The cuisine is particularly excellent and served in generous portions, fresh from the market or their garden. (more)Fabienne Beloeil-Smith
Lovely hotel, beautifully restored, friendly staff, quiet location away from the tourist hotspots. Perfect place to lay about and do nothing...We enjoyed our week and were glad to relax after our tour. (more)Kathleen Cannings
From Rupee2500 - Rupee14000 per room per night
Boutique hotel in Cirali beach, Turkey
Cirali was quite the best trip I've had since India 13 years ago... The laid back vibe and lots of natural surroundings, unhurried and friendly. The resort was quiet and comfortable and Sinan and all his team friendly and welcoming (more)Sophie Jacobson
The most memorable part of the holiday was probably cooking marshmallows in the blazing heat of the Chimera based on the side of a mountain with a view back down towards Cirali beach...Excellent. (more)Lisa Joanes
Cirali is wonderful for people looking for a laid-back undeveloped location. The scenery is spectacular, the beach great and everything is in walking distance. (more)Erica Gillard
From £450 per week
Boutique hotel in Dahab, Egypt
The most memorable part of the holiday was scuba diving in the Gulf of Aqaba. The diving sites and aquatic life were amazing... The people, food and view from the hotel was lovely. I would definitely return to this hotel again. (more)Tracy Watson
On a windy evening, the restaurant staff kindly brought our dinner over to the Bedouin tent, where we were able to enjoy it near the fire and follow it with tiny cups of mint tea and a shared sheesha. Exquisite! (more)Linda Petra
The hotel was a wonderful find!! It is beautiful, and all the staff without exception were very friendly, and helpful - I don't think "NO" is a word they ever use to their guests!!!! (more)Carmen Luck
From US $60 per double room per night
Gran Canaria hotel accommodation
Memorable parts? The very friendly greeting from Magui & her English speaking staff member, the freshly squeezed orange juice from the fruit growing in the garden, the very twisting mountain roads of the island and the route to the hotel. Found the use of the old buildings/renovation of them fascinating, retention of old features in the rooms (we had an old oven in ours), the different levels of the garden and the fruit trees - just wonderful. Tips? Unless you are sure of it being... (more)Fiona Dodds
