Amazing holiday. Very varied and interesting with a good mix of people of all ages and nationalities. We saw all of the top sights in the area and good trips were organised e.g. horse riding.

We covered a lot of areas that would have been really difficult to access (and impossible to carry tent, cooking equipment food etc by ourselves) and got a good overview of many of the places and things that people want to see and do. Drinking rum and coke out of a coconut while swimming in beautiful sea waters at sunset, simply brilliant...Loved it. Been on many tours, the tour guide was good and it was lovely to travel in a manageable group size. (more)
Snorkelling for the first time in Nha Trang (and second time in Ko Phi Phi!) was fantastic, jungle trekking in both Thailand and Malaysia was awesome...Outstanding - varied, educational and stacks of fun. An experience of endeavour and hard slog but a life achievement . The achievement of getting to above 4000mtres on foot and the View of Mt Langtang was the best part of the holiday. I enjoyed so many things about my holiday, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience. Words don’t describe what an incredible experience it was for us... but we also had a guide and porter who loved to run like we did, and they had a great sense of adventure and fantastic sense of humor... so it was a blast.

The whole holiday was amazing, but if I had to name the top three things I would say (in no particular order!) going to Iguazu Falls (especially the boat ride under the falls!), the boat trip we went on in Paraty and just being in Rio. Most memorable was our Shaman host at the jungle homestay. He glided around, playfully and skilfully making leaf hats etc and happily sharing with us his knowledge and Chechan philosophy. A wise man and free spirit in a beautiful place. (more)
Visiting the Amazon Jungle was the 'unmissable' part! A unique environment to experience - the river, the heat and humidity, the giant trees and canopy, the sounds of the jungle; seeing animals, birds, a cayman and catching piranhas! (more)
The most memorable part of my holiday was sleeping out in the desert at night with the Bedouin people - games and songs round the fire, amazing stars, beautiful sunrise, very peaceful...one of the best holidays I've been on - a complete break.
