The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener.

Most memorable? Each new place visited on the itinerary. The variety was brilliant... Recycling was handled extremely well and local people were used in the one place where it was possible and mattered, i.e. Monument Valley and the Navajo Indians. The highlight was the scenery, the lack of signs of any kind of civilisation as far as could be seen, the changing weather, being out in the weather and alive to it all the time. The most memorable part of my holiday was spotting my own Leopard, thanks to our top notch driver/guide who taught us how to look for wildlife... This safari was wonderful and highly recommended. It was great. I have never felt healthier and more relaxed. In fact, not washing for several days was rather liberating! Walking through beautiful rainforests and seeing wildlife without cages was the most memorable part.
