Rajasthan tours, India
Don't hesitate to book. Just go! It was amazing. The operator uses local transport, including trains. The hotels were small businesses and not part of large world wide chains. Our group was a mix of ages from 20 year olds to over 60's so it is suitable for all wanting to experience India. (more)Kathryn Heirons
Most memorable - the amazing places we stayed and the wonderful people we met most exciting - being driven through the streets of Delhi, it got the adrenaline pumping anyway! (more)Beki Williams
We had many memorable and exciting experiences from this trip. Some of the local villages we visited were fantastic in terms of getting a glimpse of rural life in Rajasthan. We also stayed at some very interesting accommodation. (more)R and K Mackenzie

Peru tailormade holiday
Memorable parts? Peru is a wonderful destination with so much more to offer than just the iconic Machu Picchu - all thoroughly recommended. Tips? As we did, do the circuit in an anti-clockwise direction, so that you finish up with Macchu Pichu as the jewel in the crown, but don't miss out Arequipa and Colca Canyon. Local benefits? In a relatively poor country where tourism is so important to the economy, every aspect of such a trip benefits the people somehow - even paying... (more)Paul Mors

Excellent! (more)Andy Jackson
Superb! As it was predominantly a walking holiday our impact on the environment was reduced. We also supported several local businesses, putting something back into the economy. (more)Barry Williams
The hotel was really lovely with a warm and attentive atmosphere and very good simple food. Our Guide was very special and without her we would not have seen or understood the beautiful areas in which we walked, the area is outstanding and it was a very nice group. (more)Therese Moore

Oman small group tour
Memorable parts? The desert most of all and the rest was memorable Tips? Local benefits? No Overall rating? It was wonderful. The people were warm and gracious. Our guide did a great job and was a superb quick driver. A few things that your company should consider. We made 2 requests for information about the host company and a telephone number and name of the contact person in Oman. We did not receive anything. Fortunately it turned out well. Secondly, the hotel... (more)Dennis Shulha

Memorable parts? Picnic at La Guardia and day free to explore Bilbao. Lots of nice pintxo. Tips? Use packed bag, because lots of walking with luggages. Its manageable anyway, just that packed bag is easier. Local benefits? No idea. Overall rating? It just great and too short for me. (more)Swiss Nge

Excellent- marvellous landscape, lots to see, good bicycle rides, meeting some special people, smooth service, many moving conversations and the pleasure of Greek life. (more)Helen Wells
Excellent. Good hotels, reasonably priced food, well maintained cycles (The best cycles we have ever hired). The sites of interest on our journey were better and better everyday. The holiday operator Christos was very knowledgeable and took us on a mini tour of The Corinthian Canal on our way back to the airport as a bonus on his own initiative. (more)Christine Mitchell

Burma highlights tour
Memorable parts? The visit to Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon on the final day - the culmination of a feast of sights and experiences packed into a fairly hectic schedule. Tips? Limit your luggage. Laundry offered half way through. No need for 'smart' clothes. Wifi much more widely available than guidebooks or trip notes suggest. Local benefits? It benefited local people to the extent that we stayed in small private hotels, ate in local restauranats and bought souvenirs from... (more)Andy Jackson

Memorable parts? The terracotta warriors at Xi'an and the Great Wall. Cherry, our guide although very young, was dedicated and gave us great tips and help when choosing restaurants and outings. Memorable parts? Probably the meenakshi temple visit. I also thought Kerala was beautiful. Tips? I would advise other travelers to research the areas being visited because I didn't think there were enough interesting activities offered. Local benefits? Not sure. Overall rating? 2 stars. Although our tour leader was nice enough, I found her rather disorganized and not particularly communicative regarding the areas we visited (unless we asked direct questions) or the... Greece archaeology and activity holiday
Memorable parts? I am planning to write a separate letter of thanks to our wonderful hosts, but I am happy to tell you that this vacation was our very best ever. My husband and I went with our 16-year old granddaughter. What was so great about the trip was that it appealed so much to all of us, despite our very different ages and different interests. The art we saw was of course amazing--Delphi, and Olympia, and the Parthenon, as well as the lesser-known archeological museum in Tripoli--it... (more)Ellen Lambert

Memorable parts? Sitting in a restaurant in Hoi An overlooking the river at night; Trying local dishes at each place we visited. (Try the Hue pancakes!) Walking around Hoi An's old quarter. Visiting the My Son ruins early in the morning to get there ahead of the heat and other tourists. (The itinerary showed that visit as an afternoon trip but the guide suggested we go early in the morning which was a great idea and meant we had it almost to ourselves.) Tips? Take the opportunity... Memorable parts? Exciting family holiday in Morocco
Memorable parts? Train journey accross Morocco, visit to Volubilis Roman ruins, lunch with Berber family in Ouirgane. Tips? Don't eat the salad. Do not bother with a guide in Fez; they are simply taking you on a heavily overpriced shopping trip. The Lonely Planet Guide is excellent, spot on in all instances for food, DIY tours and really good maps. Do your shopping in Marrakesh airport on the way home; they sell all the same stuff at the same prices. Take earplugs (5.30 muezzin every... (more)Emily Lusty
