Family holiday to India, sightseeing and safari
Memorable parts? It was all such a memorable trip! I guess the biggest pleasure I had this time was sharing my love of India with my 11 year old granddaughter. Jaipur was wonderful, as were the frescos in Nawalgarh and the amazing hotel in Surajgarh and I haven't mentioned Agra and Fatepur Sikri! Tips? Check the weather, it's cold overnight and early starts mean you need warm clothing as well as lighter cottons for the day time. My granddaughter had a problem with spicy food and... Peru tailormade holiday
Memorable parts? Peru is a wonderful destination with so much more to offer than just the iconic Machu Picchu - all thoroughly recommended. Tips? As we did, do the circuit in an anti-clockwise direction, so that you finish up with Macchu Pichu as the jewel in the crown, but don't miss out Arequipa and Colca Canyon. Local benefits? In a relatively poor country where tourism is so important to the economy, every aspect of such a trip benefits the people somehow - even paying... (more)Paul Mors
