Rajasthan tours, India
Don't hesitate to book. Just go! It was amazing. The operator uses local transport, including trains. The hotels were small businesses and not part of large world wide chains. Our group was a mix of ages from 20 year olds to over 60's so it is suitable for all wanting to experience India. (more)Kathryn Heirons
Most memorable - the amazing places we stayed and the wonderful people we met most exciting - being driven through the streets of Delhi, it got the adrenaline pumping anyway! (more)Beki Williams
We had many memorable and exciting experiences from this trip. Some of the local villages we visited were fantastic in terms of getting a glimpse of rural life in Rajasthan. We also stayed at some very interesting accommodation. (more)R and K Mackenzie

Memorable parts? The boat trip down the Mekong. So relaxing. Tips? Keep luggage to a minimum. Laundry facilities are widely available and you'll have more room in your case for purchases. Local benefits? Yes. Local village people, prosthetics provision and literacy help having a direct effect on Laos citizens. Overall rating? Very interesting and well paced. (more)Chris Williams

EXCELLENT, our guide Alexandra was first class....Hard to say as so many wonderful bits. Maybe visiting the fortified church in the village where Prince Charles has bought a house, and then going by horse and cart to visit the brick maker. (more)Peter Hartnall
It is difficult to pick out the 'most' memorable as the whole holiday was absolutely wonderful. The guide made it possible to visit small museums and 'cottage industries' such as a rural tile maker, which involved a pony cart ride, none of which would have been possible without her local knowledge.
