This was a brilliant holiday for myself and my teenage sons. All of us have rekindled an interest in Egyptian history. There was lots to do and see, in fact never a dull moment.

Everything about this trip was perfect! The itinerary included all of the major sites you would want to see, as well as so many other amazing and fun experiences. Our guide, Ned, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, not only about the sites, but also Egyptian culture.

The whole Egypt holiday was memorable and each part was different and equally exciting. Spent a few days in Cairo seeing the sights - the Pyramids are phenomenal.

Seeing the ancient Egyptian sites that are so old and so famous, to actually see them in real life. And to be able to see so much in a few days without feeling rushed!

We really enjoyed the extra time they took to show us some of the things off the beaten path and some real Egyptian food and sheesha. The Valley of the Kings was our most favourite site.

The most memorable part of my holiday was sleeping out in the desert at night with the Bedouin people - games and songs round the fire, amazing stars, beautiful sunrise, very peaceful...one of the best holidays I've been on - a complete break.

We had a number of local guides showing us around places such as Elephantine Island as well as several stays with local families which were fantastic

Highlights were the hot air ballooning at sunrise, meeting the donkeys on landing to ride to the valley of the Kings & going into the tombs, all on the final day!!

Hard to judge as it was all so brilliant, but probably the felucca trip and diving in Dahab were the most memorable. The sights are amazing and the people friendly, who could ask for more on a fab holiday!

Hot air balloon over Valley of the Kings, cruising on the Nile, meeting lots of interesting people were the most memorable parts.

Most memorable? I think the Pyramids at Giza and the paintings in the tomb of Ramses I, or perhaps it was the gold mask of Tutankamun, or was it the statue of Ramses II at Memphis... it was always a jaw-dropping moment at each place we visited.

Definitely the Abu Simbel Sun Miracle we were able to witness and experience was the highlight. To be able to see 3 of the 4 pharaohs light up from sun coming through, was an experience we will never forget.

It's impossible to state the most memorable part of this holiday as it really was superb in all aspects. The holiday was everything and more than we could have imagined.

Most memorable were the wonderful ancient monuments we visited - in particular Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple - but also Luxor temple, Kom Ombo and Karnak. Also the beautiful vistas on the Nile and sailing in a felucca.

The pyramids were just extraordinary - I had wondered whether they would live up to expectations, but they were fantastic!

The expanse of history was staggering and seeing places like the Valley of the Kings that we’ve read about forever was incredible.

Absolutely stunned by the tombs and temples, still find it hard to grasp the scale and artistry and work that went into creating them. Absolutely superb, want to do it again, plus more.

Most memorable were going inside the Great Pyramid, sailing down (up) the Nile in the Dahabiya, Hadeel, instead of the big diesel monsters they have for most tourists, El Tahrir square and the bazaar. The staff on the Hadeel were fabulous.
