Everything about this trip was perfect! The itinerary included all of the major sites you would want to see, as well as so many other amazing and fun experiences. Our guide, Ned, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, not only about the sites, but also Egyptian culture.
(more)We had a number of local guides showing us around places such as Elephantine Island as well as several stays with local families which were fantastic (more)Highlights were the hot air ballooning at sunrise, meeting the donkeys on landing to ride to the valley of the Kings & going into the tombs, all on the final day!! Not always for the right reasons - lots of tummy upsets and camel bum, as well as the intense heat - but also a wonderful location and more of an adventure than we had expected.
