The accommodation was superb with great views and lovely countryside right on your doorstep to explore.
(more)The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)Just a lovely relaxing time - bike routes well marked, flora & fauna interesting, pubs perfectly placed for provisions....Really good. Off peak, so avoided crowds. Seeing such diverse parts of the country with such different landscapes - all within 140 miles; having the route to ourselves most of the time; meeting the challenge of a three-day cycle with quite a lot of big hills; meeting lovely people; great B&Bs etc. (more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

The highlights were the warm welcome, wonderful cream tea on arrival. Very child friendly - Rose went out of her way to find books and puzzles for the children to play with. (more)
Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy. (more)
Our stay was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, David and Jackie. From the welcoming tea and biscuits on arrival, to our departure, all was everything you could possibly wish for. (more)
