I am reborn! Simply the best holiday I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
Truly relaxing, very peaceful - we haven't slept so well in a
very long time - great to slow down and soak up the beautiful countryside. Ian
made us feel very welcome and the homemade cake was delicious. (more)Sue Cross-Bourton
Maggie and Ian are genuinely committed to minimal environmental impact tourism, and it shows everywhere you look .... They are welcoming, enthusiastic, and full of ideas for great days out and activities in the local area. (more)Julia Key
Very good. Great for families and for getting away from it all. It was all lovely and relaxing. Borrowing the bikes and cycling around the countryside was great fun! (more)bronwen burgess
Fantastic. Lovely cottage, very well stocked and furnished. Very friendly and helpful owner. The cottage is spacious and in bad weather you can sit and gaze into the garden and listen to the birds. (more)Helena Poldervaart
We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.
Great. Created some fun memories and yes I would recommend it to a friend. (more)Kath Cox
We had a great time in Devon and will come back one day hopefully. (more)Matthias Vente
Staying at the eco lodge enables the nature reserve to be sustained and there are plenty of local farm shops, a fantastic local butchers (with lovely cheeses as well as very good meat and chutneys) and pubs close by to enjoy! (more)Rebecca Swarbrick
Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy. (more)Naomi Dunn

Simply the best one ever spent on the Island and it was the 15th trip!...The most memorable part was walking across the Tennyson trail - fantastic views! There's some gorgeous coves etc off the main tourist areas.

Superb accommodation made a great base to explore the isle of Wight, an area new to us. Lovely garden and al fresco dining! The weather was not great for August but everything else was brilliant, there is lots to do and see - and amazing walking! (more)Judith Pollard
The accommodation had everything we needed and the owners were welcoming and informative. It was a good overall experience. (more)Rachel Pettitt

day, or have a break during the day. (more)Colin Ingram
Exactly the relaxing break we needed and more....The cottage was wonderful and the views superb. We did some great walking and some amazing eating. The farmhouse breakfast has to be described as memorable -delicious! (more)Kathy Longford
It was truly amazing and we will definitely be going again....The outdoor activities team were very knowledgeable about the area so we learned lots about the history of the place, and the impact of their work. They were also great at educating the children (and adults) about nature and doing things naturally which we have carried with us.
Very enjoyable and offered both something for adults and children. Although you were with a group for activities you could still do your own thing in the evening which meant that it still felt like an independent holiday. (more)Matthew Hawkins
We had a great guide for the week - Simon. Also Ghyll scrambling and rock climbing with the whole family (children from 4 to 19) was special...Great fun. (more)Michele Oliver
The large pond/small lake was perfect. Our children spent most of their waking time in the water, on the paddle board, in the boat or on the island. Some of
us adults joined them ... but at the end of October, with no wetsuits, we mainly left it to them! It was heaven. We were able to sit nearby and talk, clutch hot
drinks and laugh and take photos, without spoiling their fun. And all the while knowing there was a cosy house with woodburner lit, just a minute away.
