We were blessed with consistently clear, sunny almost 80-degree weather. And the small towns where we stayed overnight were charming and still very rural, but with nice accommodations and pubs. We have never been on a walking holiday of this duration, and it's by far the best form of locomotion. 
(more)This was an excellent walk of almost 100 mls over 8 days; from Lindisfarne to Hadrian's Wall. The most memorable part was completing it! (more)Hmmm, so many good bits. Seeing such diverse parts of the country with such different landscapes - all within 140 miles; having the route to ourselves most of the time; meeting the challenge of a three-day cycle with quite a lot of big hills; meeting lovely people; great B&Bs etc. (more)We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review.
