Family holiday in Vietnam
Memorable parts? When you've hiked in the Himalayas and the Andes, communed with the Bhutanese and the Mozambicans, you can't quite imagine that you could be stunned by something as simple as a Good Morning Vietnam trip. We were immersed in this really poor country, with the hint of past traumatic occupation and wars, and received the most generous opening of hearts from this 80% buddhist country. From the arts to economics, farmlands and the intensity of a 5-million motorcycle strong Saigon,... (more)Victoria Macdonald
From £1888 - £2422 including UK flights
Morocco family holiday
Excellent experience, especially for the children. A great tour to get an idea of different ways of life in Morocco, from rural villages to big cities. (more)Kate Newman
All amazing - sea kayaking over the sunken city, trip on the Gulet, theatre at Xanthos and friendly Turkish people...Relaxing, fun, educational. (more)Amanda Weaver
From £689 - £879 including UK flights
Costa Rica family activity holiday
Memorable parts? The "adrenaline" activities - horse-riding, rafting, canyoning. Watching the children playing in the hotel pool at Arenal while the volcano puffed in the background, and feeling slightly uneasily like a citizen of Pompeii... Sitting one metre from an egg-laying turtle. Tips? A really strong insect repellent - ours was sold in a metal canister as it dissolves plastic, and seemed to be more effective than other people's! Definitely do the optional kayaking at Tortugero... (more)Hilary Mackintosh
From £1995 excluding flights
Family holiday to Jordan, Journey to the Lost City
It was a very inspirational holiday...Staying at Dana guesthouse supported a very important nature biosphere. (more)sharyn hall
This trip delivered everything we wanted, adventure, relaxation, new experiences - without having to think too much after a busy year, thanks to our wonderful guide. (more)Tania Riddiford
A brilliant holiday which both the adults and children thoroughly enjoyed. A well organised tour, helped by a good guide and a good group of families from which we have all made some new friends. (more)Michael Dixon
From £1309 - £1499 including UK flights
Family tour to Morocco
Most memorable was seeing the excitement on the children’s faces when they got to ride donkeys in the oasis and the camel riding on the beach. (more)Alison Williams
Excellent, and we all loved our knowledgeable, kid-friendly guide Noureddine. (more)Ferne Mele
My husband, my daughter and I all had a wonderful time. It was really good for my daughter in particular to visit an Islamic country. (She has Muslim schoolfriends.) Hearing French spoken also helped her to realise that there are real advantages in learning to speak another language. (more)Sibyl Ruth
From £759 - £949 including UK flights
Family culture & adventure holiday to Egypt
This was a brilliant holiday for myself and my teenage sons. All of us have rekindled an interest in Egyptian history. There was lots to do and see, in fact never a dull moment. (more)Joan Bell
If I have to pick a highlight, it would be the flight to Abu Simbel and being there at sunrise, before the crowds. It was magical. And sailing on the felucca was wonderful, and just hanging out at the Nubian house that evening, sipping tea and chatting under the stars, having a henna tattoo, was just wonderful. Northern Thailand family holiday
Memorable parts? What we liked the most was the variation in the program - culture - nature - sports (could have been little bit more) - homestay - and definitely NOT to forget the Thai cooking!! People were extremely friendly. We definitely also enjoyed the busy life in Bangkok next to the quietness of the rafthouses - the serenity of foodgiving to the monks - the fireflies at night .... Tips? Do not take too much luggage with you! There are opportunities to get your laundry done... (more)Sabine Callens
From £1571 - £2116 including UK flights
Ethiopia holidays, tailor made
It was a dream come true, an absolutely fantastic trip and one I would take again in a heartbeat. Everything went well, from general organisation to travel to accommodation to the sightseeing itself. The agent, Eskinder, chose the best people in each town and made sure that everything was as good as it could possibly be. (more)Scott Stanway
It's not easy to pick out any one thing that stood out above all else, this trip was a feast for the mind from start to finish. It’s now a good couple of months since our return and I've had time to begin digesting the memories. With that in mind, I guess it has to be the people we met along the way, so many wonderful people. (more)Stuart Read
The Ethiopians themselves are the most memorable part of our holiday. They are genuinely kind people, passionate, proud of their heritage and country and fun-loving! (more)Bettina Walsh

History, culture, scenery, meeting the people - deliberately or accidentally - were highlights and if one person has to be named then it must be Eskinder, the master mind behind the whole operation. (more)Vincent Buxton

We all enjoyed every part of the holiday, especially the elephant riding, white water rafting to the resthouse and fantastic views from the campsite above the tea plantations...A fantastic action packed holiday. (more)Sue Hooke
From £2029 - £2499 including UK flights
Family adventure holiday in Peru
Memorable parts? Exploring Machu Picchu, and the Inca salt pans. Tips? Don't take waterproofs if you are short of space: take a plastic mac and buy a cheap umbrella; Do take altitude sickness medication; Expect to spend a lot of money on food; Don't eat salads or ice cream. Local benefits? We were putting money into the local economy by buying goods and staying in typical hotels which were not part of global chains. Overall rating? Very enjoyable, with items of interest... (more)Vicki Shenton

Marvels of Morocco family holiday
Memorable parts? The most memorable moment was probably the camel trek - sleeping under the desert stars was a fantastic experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the trekking in the Atlas - it really felt like you were a million miles away from everything! Tips? If you go in the summer, be prepared for the high temperatures (47ºC in Merzouga!) -hats, sunscreen and drinking lots of water are all essential. Apart from that, try keeping your luggage down to a minimum as there is a lot... (more)Alison Bancroft

From £1419 including UK flights
Prague & Tatra Mountains family holiday
Memorable parts? Climbing up the Tatra Mountains to be within sight of the Polish border. Tips? Take a good phrase book for Slovakia or brush up your German on food and drink because many of the local restaurants have no one who speaks English and the Menu is not translated into English, so without this your choice of restaurant is very limited, which means you miss out on some real gems of local village life. Local benefits? Yes, but there was scope for more. The hotel we... (more)Rosemary Milton

Family holiday in Thailand
Most memorable were the palaces and temples of Bangkok, closely followed by the jungle walk! Best yet for all of us. (more)Barbara Chadband
Everyday was filled with activity and something new to look forward to. Most memorable was meeting and getting to know the local people and seeing real life in Thailand...Fun, educational, relaxing...not just a holiday but an experience of a lifetime. (more)Afsha Malik

Rio was the least interesting. Everywhere else was fantastic. Amazing sites. Great circuit...Amazon lodge guide and Rio guide great. (more)Isabelle Dubois
The entire trip was extremely memorable, but, the most exciting part was swimming in the Amazon River System. (more)Matthew Fitzgerald
From £2329 - £2469 including UK flights
China family adventure holiday
The guides in each city were excellent, and the group guide Lucy was just tremendous - excellent ambassador for both the tour operator and China! The kids really enjoyed it and got to see some things that exposed them how other people live just to survive. (more)Karen Jennings
Every day had an amazing new experience. If I had to pick one highlight, it would be climbing the Great Wall of China, and taking the slide down, but that only slightly edges out every other day we had. Rafting down the Yulong river is a very close second. (more)Ann Galli
From £1445 - £1789 excluding flights
Family holiday in Romania, tailor made
Memorable parts? To quote my son, when asked the same question... I liked all of it!! However, if I have to chose particular moments... Getting a feel for the rhythm of village life on a glorious spring morning in Biertan, taking an evening stroll alongside the locals in Brasov and making it to the top of the 1426 steps (my younger son counted!) to see the view from Poienari Citadel. Tips? We went to Romania in Spring and I would recommend going there at Easter (which is a little... (more)Jo Murray

India family holidays
Fantastic - our guide was superb and made a huge difference to our enjoyment - it was a memorable holiday with so many eye opening experiences into another culture. We loved it! Thank you. (more)Claire Ashley
India is an incredible country - we loved watching the world go by from our mini bus windows as we drove through rural villages and bustling towns. The Taj Mahal was incredible and the Amber Fort majestic. (more)Sam Daniels
An excellent holiday which combined a taste of the splendour of the Mughals, rural India, a glimpse into the spiritual life of India at Haridwar and Rishikesh as well as the safari and an easy (by Himalayan standards) trek from the camp on the Ganges. (more)Marian Warford
From £1709 including UK flights

Most memorable were hot air balloon over valley kings, donkey ride, camel ride, climb up Mount Sinai, snorkelling and camping in Red Sea. (more)Martin Middle
From £1012 - £1413 including UK flights
Mongolia family holiday
Memorable parts? Just the sheer beauty of the Mongolian landscape. It surpassed expectations. The wildlife - pairs of golden eagles just sitting by the road! Staying in gers was fun, as was meeting some of the local people and sampling 101 things to do with yak's milk... Tips? The weather is variable so do make sure you bring wet weather gear and a jumper for the evenings, even in summer. Take matches or a lighter for the stoves in your ger. LOADS of camera memory and spare batteries... (more)Helen Bichard
From £1095 - £1240 excluding flights
Family holiday to Egypt, Luxor resort
Memorable parts? Far more interesting than expected. The expanse of history was staggering and seeing places like the Valley of the Kings that we’ve read about forever was incredible. For the kids it was Tutankhamen’s tomb and later the contents at the Cairo museum. Bassam, our guide in Cairo was the standout. He was phenomenally knowledgeable, charming, great with children and a very interesting person. He was prepared to talk about anything including current Egyptian politics and was easily... Malaysia family holiday
Definitely memorable, a last family holiday my teenager's will remember forever. It really opened their eyes to different cultures and my daughter is more confident about the possibility of backpacking in her uni years. (more)Karen Wright
We swam with sea turtles, sharks, rays and the most amazing range of tropical fish. At Banding Island we also saw a rare Asian elephant in the wild. But the whole holiday was great - a huge range of sights and experiences crammed into a very short time. (more)Julie Martin
Highlights include tracking gibbons and overnight camp in the rainforest, some great food, swimming with a giant turtle and snorkelling around the reef. ALL the wildlife was great. People were lovely. (more)Laura Brodrick
From £2045 including UK flights
Kerala family activity holiday, India
Memorable parts? Everything was superb from beginning to end. The guides and drivers used were truly professional. Mr J.K.Sharma, our guide in Delhi and Agra was knowledgeable, amusing, very professional and adapted the tour to suit our specific requirements. He certainly made our visit to Delhi and Agra a memorable one and if/when we return we would definitely request him again. The driver for the trip, Sukhdeo, was excellent and unflappable, which are two necessary requirements for Indian... (more)Richenda Askew

Tailor made Morocco family adventure holiday
My husband and two children aged 11 and 8 recently returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday with this tour operator. We were really impressed in how intimate and professional the tour was. Everything went smoothly but was also flexible enough, to allow us to spend more or less time on what we really wanted to do. We loved the Sahara Desert, the High Atlas Mountains, the zest of Marrakesh city, and our cooking class. Our children loved the sand boarding, decorating pottery with henna, the music... Borneo family holiday to see Orangutans
In Borneo we met and travelled with like minded families and individuals, who along with good humoured guides added enormously to the pleasure of the trip. It was excellent and would thoroughly recommend for those who are adventurous, like variety and don't mind a bit of roughing. (more)Michael Mosley
It was a fantastic holiday and I felt that we were away for much longer than we actually were. We got to visit amazing places and it felt like an adventure but at all times it was stress-free and safe (which really helps when travelling with young children). (more)Emma Beeston
Fantastic! Aided greatly by a local guide who was both extremely knowledgeable, organised, and tolerant of persistent questioning by both the children and adults on the trip. (more)Barbara Burke
