Peru family adventure holiday
Memorable parts? We were hiking for few hours through beautiful Inca trail and at the end we had seen Machu Picchu in clouds and then in a full sun. Tips? Take good rain gear when you travel during wet season. We were there in December and weather was good, but sometimes we got surprises. Local benefits? I think we benefit local people. We visited places stayed in hotels, bought souvenirs. It seems, money we spend stayed there. I hope money collected in tickets will be... (more)Iwona Warszawska

Brac Island family activity holiday, Croatia
Memorable parts? The people, the food, the island! We felt at home with the staff of the wonderful Illyrian Resort; Ivan, Maira, Maya, Nino, Maida, and the owners, a wonderful couple. This is a fantastic family owned business that provides the nicest and most soothing atmosphere to relax and enjoy with your family. Tips? This is an excellent holiday destination for families who want to avoid noisy, big resort type of holidays. The island of Brac is absolutely gorgeous, the people... (more)Fernando Colchero

Memorable parts? The canyoning part, definitely. Followed by a night by the river, with BBQ and nice chats. To wake up and enjoy a demanding, yet fun, rafting day. Tips? Memorable parts? There were so many memorable parts of this holiday. I wanted to see San Francisco, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. This tour provided me with the opportunity and so much more. Memorable parts? We really enjoyed the variety and opportunity to scratch the surface of a friendly country with a knowledgeable guide who was a real ambassador for his country, but the majesty of Petra & add-on tour round little Petra was the highlight. Prague & Tatra Mountains family holiday
Memorable parts? Climbing up the Tatra Mountains to be within sight of the Polish border. Tips? Take a good phrase book for Slovakia or brush up your German on food and drink because many of the local restaurants have no one who speaks English and the Menu is not translated into English, so without this your choice of restaurant is very limited, which means you miss out on some real gems of local village life. Local benefits? Yes, but there was scope for more. The hotel we... (more)Rosemary Milton

Mongolia family holiday
Memorable parts? Just the sheer beauty of the Mongolian landscape. It surpassed expectations. The wildlife - pairs of golden eagles just sitting by the road! Staying in gers was fun, as was meeting some of the local people and sampling 101 things to do with yak's milk... Tips? Memorable parts? Cycling through some beautiful areas of Italy with a great, mixed group. Tips? Get some cycling practice in - most of the riding is on quiet roads, so worth getting used to traffic. Memorable parts? Many wonderful memories, among which magnificent sunsets, mating lions and a leopard resting in a high tree near its prey, a young impala, lifted in the tree. Lions and leopard were seen in the Moremi Game reserve. Tips? Bring enough warm clothes: in July and August, nights and early mornings are very cold. Bring many memory cards and something to protect your camera from dust and sand. Local benefits? This tour is organized by a South-African company, so... (more)Françoise Bartiaux
