Most memorable? Stunning views from high up in the Parc National de Mercantour, well worth the effort of climbing 1000 metres. Also Liz's home cooking, delish!!!! Wonderful, would like do it all again and probably will before too long.

It’s impossible to specify any part of the trip as being the most memorable because every aspect of the holiday was really quite perfect ... The incredible scenery and awesome walks, combined with the great guiding, lovely chalet accommodation and superb meals, made for a truly perfect experience.

I think the attempt to reach the summit of Mont Blanc and in spite not having made it due to bad weather conditions it was still nice to have been to the Dome de Gouter. Other moments were the stunning landscapes.

This was a first walking holiday for myself and my wife and, overall, an excellent experience which was good value for money. It is a holiday I would highly recommend for reasonably fit outdoor people.

This was the best holiday I have been on in a very long time and I came home with a huge sense of achievement. I went from a confident piste skier, terrified of off-piste, to managing jump turns down almost vertical terrain.

I really enjoyed the holiday. All 18 of us got on very well and each day's cycling was just the right amount of cycling and sight-seeing. Martin & Marjorie's hospitality and food were excellent. Our cycle guide, Yon Willan was fantastic and I will miss having him around!

The snowshoe walks on the Alps and the stay at Chalet Savoy were the highlights of this holiday. The walks took us to the top of the world, literally. They were envigorating and the scenery was stunning.

The fantastic group of people that I shared my holiday with... like minded, laugh a minute, make your own fun people! Our free time was even spent as a group, in search of Lucheon's best sledging spots, we were not disappointed!

Most memorable was tartiflette eaten by candlelight (cooked by the concert pianist and his wife who run the refuge) and the sound of the river in its rocky bed as we fell asleep.

Hiking in the Cinque Terre and cycling in Lucca were the highlights. Local trains and buses and staying in small often family run hotels certainly minimized our impact.
