My wife just loved the fact that the kids enjoyed it and thought that the hotel was marvellous.

The instructors, the professionalism and the enthusiasm they all put in really made this a holiday to remember. From myself as an unfit 40 year old down to my 12 year old son we were looked after and made to feel welcome.

I think the attempt to reach the summit of Mont Blanc and in spite not having made it due to bad weather conditions it was still nice to have been to the Dome de Gouter. Other moments were the stunning landscapes.

I really enjoyed the holiday. All 18 of us got on very well and each day's cycling was just the right amount of cycling and sight-seeing. Martin & Marjorie's hospitality and food were excellent. Our cycle guide, Yon Willan was fantastic and I will miss having him around!

This was a first walking holiday for myself and my wife and, overall, an excellent experience which was good value for money. It is a holiday I would highly recommend for reasonably fit outdoor people.

The variety of the walks and scenery - and loads of wildlife. Marmot, chamois, vultures, various birds. Level of challenge was set just right for the needs of the group...Great - would do it again! Really good value for money.

I already miss the smell of the mountains. It's a lovely, lovely place. If you can, ask for the room with the big shower upstairs as having a shower facing the mountain scenery was amazing.

Most memorable? Stunning views from high up in the Parc National de Mercantour, well worth the effort of climbing 1000 metres. Also Liz's home cooking, delish!!!! Wonderful, would like do it all again and probably will before too long.

It was all brilliant. The walks were amazing and all different. My favourite was the really long one but we were rewarded with the most amazing views of Mont Blanc. I loved learning about Alpine flowers. The food was fantastic.

The fantastic group of people that I shared my holiday with... like minded, laugh a minute, make your own fun people! Our free time was even spent as a group, in search of Lucheon's best sledging spots, we were not disappointed!

Most memorable was tartiflette eaten by candlelight (cooked by the concert pianist and his wife who run the refuge) and the sound of the river in its rocky bed as we fell asleep.

I particularly loved our mountain walk, with spectacular views and carpets of Pyrenean irises, and I think one of the highlights for all of us was swimming in a beautiful mountain lake.

I rate the holiday as a wonderful experience, opening my eyes to many wonders that I could not have imagined. A fantastic experience.
