Yoga holiday in Gozo
The most exciting part of the holiday was getting to know our teacher, exploring yoga from a different perspective and finding out how well I'd adjust. It was a wonderful feeling getting up every morning to be taught something new.  (more)

Some lesser-known facts on Gozo:

Gozo is home to the oldest free-standing stone structures in the world, the temple of Ggantija in Xaghra, predating Stonehenge by an estimated 1,000 years.

The entire island is only 7 kilometres by 14 long!

With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, even during the balmy months of winter and autumn, frost is practically unknown.

Gozitan’s use a unique method handed down by their forefathers to produce olive oil using cold water, which allows them to collect the purest (and tastiest) olive oil. In fact it’s so good, locals believe that’s why they were invaded by the Romans so many years ago!

The Azure window, an extraordinary natural stone arch in the protected area of Dwejra, is often immortalised in film and television, featuring in the 1981 classic ‘Clash of the Titans’ and the more recent HBO TV series ‘Game of Thrones’.
