Cultural holiday to Bhutan
Unbelievable and above expectation in every respect. The trip offers a multitude of things: nature, very nice people, culture, Buddhist spirituality, lovely walks, you can't go wrong going (more)Ingrid Blatz
The festival we saw was brilliant with highly colourful costumes and masks. Our visit to one monastery was special as only our group had the chance to just listen to the chanting monks with their drums and horns. (more)Daniel Collings

National Parks hiking holiday in America
Memorable parts? There were numerous memorable moments during the whole two week holiday due to the ever changing landscape covered by the trip.We covered nearly 2000 miles in the comfortable people carrier and the views, scenery and walks we superb and not too taxing. The first view of the Grand Canyon was of course stunning but for me the mountain views in Yosemite were breathtakingly beautiful ,the walk along the Panorama trail back to Curry village was awe inspiringly spectacular and the... Memorable: 1.Training in the stunning beautiful mountains - Trient Glacier. 2. The views on the climb up and down from Mont Blanc summit, including sunrise Exciting - the scramble up to the Gouter Refuge. (more)John Hehir
I think the attempt to reach the summit of Mont Blanc and in spite not having made it due to bad weather conditions it was still nice to have been to the Dome de Gouter. Other moments were the stunning landscapes. (more)Peter Koopmans

Small group tours to Japan
Memorable parts? Walking in the countryside - seeing parts of Japan that I would never have discovered on my own and being guided by a reliable expert. Asuka, Dorogawa and the Mitarai Gorge were particularly memorable. Also - wonderful exotic food, charming ryokans and soothing onsens. (And the company of like-minded fellow travellers.) Tips? Ensure that you are fit enough to do the walking required, get a really good rucksack and carry as little as possible. There are drinks and... (more)Una Dinning

Catalan countryside accommodation, Spain
Memorable parts? I thought my hosts were amazingly helpful. The house was lovely . There was lots to do in the local area and I loved the walking. Fiona and Gareth were on hand for advice and the emphasis on Sports was very interesting. Tips? I had my bag stolen in Girona. I think it was unusual in the city but I would take care not to carry everything around with you .take copies of passports and have emergency numbers at home. I found the local people including the police really... (more)judith cockrell

Limousin holiday accommodation
The holiday was wonderfully. The cottage is gorgeous and has everything you would need. Anna is incredibly helpful and always there to answer any questions. This part of France is quiet and peaceful and exploring it by bike was brilliant fun (although hard work!) (more)Kathryn Brooke
Excellent. Having 5 separate en suite bathrooms is so beneficial and comfortable. We felt very well looked after and consider that Anna went above and beyond the call of duty to give us as much support and information as possible. (more)Stuart Toulson

Cycling holiday in Umbria, Italy
Memorable parts? Cycling through some beautiful areas of Italy with a great, mixed group. Tips? Get some cycling practice in - most of the riding is on quiet roads, so worth getting used to traffic. Local benefits? Not sure it particularly benefited local people, although meals were often in local restaurants. Overall rating? Absolutely fantastic and memorable. (more)Michelle Bickle

Reaching Uhuru Peak. This was most memorable. (more)Abdi Ali
Excellent. It was difficult to foresee exactly how things would be, but in general it was an enjoyable challenge and very rewarding in meeting other like minded people as well as the kind and hard working porters and guides. (more)Neil Robdale

West Coast tours in America
Memorable parts? There were so many memorable parts of this holiday. I wanted to see San Francisco, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. This tour provided me with the opportunity and so much more. The other places visited were unknown to me but they all turned out to be fantastic with stunning scenery and landscape. Even Las Vegas was memorable but two nights in the place was quite enough for me. If I had to pick one memory, it would have to be Yosemite which everyone should see. Tips? The... (more)Paul Rimmer

Your own group trip up Kilimanjaro
Memorable parts? The last night in the bar when we all made it. Tips? Leave more stuff back at the hotel before leaving for the climb. Beware you need to bring cash with you and let your bank know your travelling or they may stop your cash point card. Local benefits? Yes it did. Overall rating? 9 out of 10. (more)Brendan Hayes

Amsterdam to Bruges bike and barge holiday
Memorable parts? Living and travelling on the barge Fiep. The crew, accommodation and food were excellent. Amsterdam, Ghent and Antwerp were great. Was disappointed with Bruges - too touristy! Tips? Be prepared for the wind in Holland which made cycling more difficult than expected. Local benefits? Yes because we were travelling by boat and bicycles so not polluting the roads and adding to traffic. Overall rating? Enjoyable but felt that the leader lacked basic skills... (more)Jill Toman
