The best moments were the tree frogs, manu poison frog and the rainbow boa! I really enjoyed the construction of the bird hides and biogarden even though sometimes it was really hard work! Pancakes for breakfast were great!

Knowing that we'd saved a lot of marine animals by clearing the beaches of plastic fishing nets...It makes you more aware the impact each of us has on the environment by the choices we make every day. Very good.

Pleaching my first tree and bending it into the hedge successfully without it breaking off. The best way possible to start a new year.

One of the best parts was meeting people with something in common with yourself. The most exciting part was going to St Peters festival and taking part in the traditional pottery game.

Most memorable was interacting with different types of people of all ages and never laughing so much in one week.

I felt completely ........ alive.... if you know what I mean. There was a real sense of satisfaction, that I just don't get from my day job....Thanks again for being the source for a fantastic holiday. I will be booking more similar holidays as soon as I can.

Really rewarding, extremely physically demanding and great fun... Working with a great bunch of people building a dry stone wall, enjoying the pleasant countryside... The organisation appears to have minimising the environmental impact at the forefront of their minds when delivering the holiday.

I had loads of fun – enjoyed myself much more than I ever expected, and, as an extra bonus, came away with muscles I never had (even after a week of almost constant cake-eating) I’ve already recommended it to lots of friends.

A great mix of people meant that everyone settled in and had a really enjoyable week. A great experience and something that I would love to do again.

Very enjoyable, fun and interesting. Lots of lovely food, plenty to do and provided you don't mind getting a bit grubby and working hard for short periods, I would strongly recommend this holiday. In fact I already have!

The most memorable part was discovering the beautiful Galapagos islands with their varied plants, birds and animals, differing from one island to another.

Teaching the younger children in the village which was an initiative of the in country coordinator and not actually part of the project I signed up for.
