Lake District mountain biking weekends, England
Memorable parts? Fantastic mountain biking in a beautiful location - one of the best holidays I've been on and I came away feeling I'd really pushed myself physically and mentally, and achieved something. The guides were superb, encouraging and great fun, and the food was excellent. Tips? Just do it. My rental bike was great, and you should be prepared for all weather. Local benefits? Yes in as much as we stayed in locally owned B&Bs, had supper in local pubs/restaurants,... (more)Helena Posnett

Outstanding cycling - varied trails. Superb guiding and local knowledge. Excellent food and company! Beautiful eco-friendly accommodation...The best holiday we've ever been on. (more)Matthew Scott
Most memorable as a punishing 2.5 hr hill climb (we had the option to do most of it in the support vehicle, but I opted not to!) followed by the best single track down hill I have ever done. It was awesome! (more)Justyn Evans
My most memorable parts were the fantastic rides, the buzz you get when you reach the top of an exhausting climb and then get to whizz down descents that will really get the adrenaline pumping through your body! (more)Kama Wager

Mountain biking holidays in England
Memorable parts? It was great to see the fantastic scenery and villages of the South West and this was just the mountain biking challenge I was looking for, both in terms of technical skill and fitness. The guides were very helpful (e.g. we got a lesson in bike maintenance) and friendly. They provided fantastic snacks and picnic lunches for us en route and went out of their way to buy the group's food requests. Day 3 was definitely the best with superb weather, stunning views over the Bristol... (more)Helena Posnett

Memorable parts? Everything! This holiday was our honeymoon and it was exactly what we were wanting. Idyllic location in the mountains, so quiet and relaxing. There was a good range of Mountain bike trails, every day was a different challenge. The guides were very professional and friendly and made the holiday hassle free. Food was tasty, accommodation was lovely and their two pet dogs beautiful and entertaining. Tips? Go for it. Local benefits? Yes, we had dinner out a couple... (more)Rebecca and Michael McMorran
