Incredible, awesome. Quite simply the most fantastic holiday of our lives. It was everything and so much more than we had hoped.

The temples were amazing. I had an amazing time - the guides were great, really looked after me. I loved every minute...

The ethnic markets, the train trips, the hotels and staff, our guides, the high quality, safe, late model 4 wheel drives and excellent drivers (since we went on some steep and slippery roads), meeting local people and seeing the beautiful country, people and amazing Hanoi were all memorable.

From simply sitting on a sand bank on the side of Ganges watching the birdlife after enjoying a sumptuous meal prepared by a local man with nothing more than the ingredients and utensils that he had on his boat to dressing up and being treated like Kings in the Maharajas palace it was just all fantastic.

Sailing around Halong bay, Motor cycling through the back streets of Hue, dancing with the children in the villages were the highlights.

Near Mari we had a tyre blow out on the bus and had to stop to get it fixed. Within minutes the whole village had turned out to see what was going on and wanted photos taking and to talk to us. We were only 10 miles from the Iraq boarder but the people could not have been any more friendly. In some ways it was the high spot of the holiday.

We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting.

The lovely boat trip and time spent in the Mekong Delta were the most memorable parts of the holiday.

The traditional male dancers at the accommodation near Madurai were very much the local equivalent of morris dancers - bells, hats, stick dances, waving hankies, the hobby hoss .... Totally unexpected, and they had as much fun dancing as we had watching!

As each day passed it became my favourite day so far! The Inca Trail of course and the island home stay have to be my top two. The holiday was made all the more memorable because of the great group we were travelling with and of course our guide Dante.

There were several highlights. The Golden Temple at Amritsar, Jairpur's Amber Fort & Palace, the backwaters of Kerala and our homestay in the Nilgiri Hills.

Every step of the trip went very smoothly and having English speaking guides and drivers made the whole experience very personal. Often the local guides enriched our experiences as they espoused more than mere information, passionately imparting their knowledge and opinions.

The whole Egypt holiday was memorable and each part was different and equally exciting. Spent a few days in Cairo seeing the sights - the Pyramids are phenomenal.

Superb. Special thanks to our guide Junaid. He was wonderful from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and the organisation was seamless.

I had such a good time, the size of the group was just right and the age band was not too wide. Our guide was very competent and really made the trip work, it was so stress free.

Its impossible to pick just one as the entire trip was wonderful, which probably sounds like a cliche. There were so many highlights, the sailing down the Ganges was magical, and exploring Varanasi.

Arriving in Mysore after flying into Bangalore gave us a wonderful introduction into the bustle and atmosphere of a relatively small Indian city; we loved the amazing market - brimming with flowers, spices, fruit and vegetables and the sumptuous Palace.

Seeing was believing when it came to the Taj Mahal, not many places live up to be better than you anticipate as this place did. My wife and I have done some travelling, but this has to be the most impressive building we have ever witnessed.

The festival we saw was brilliant with highly colourful costumes and masks. Our visit to one monastery was special as only our group had the chance to just listen to the chanting monks with their drums and horns.
