(more)Everything about this trip was perfect! The itinerary included all of the major sites you would want to see, as well as so many other amazing and fun experiences. Our guide, Ned, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, not only about the sites, but also Egyptian culture. (more)This really was the best holiday we have ever had, we have struggled in the past to find somewhere that everyone enjoys which is difficult with young active children, but this accommodation and Ithaca really did mean we relaxed and enjoyed time with them whilst they also had a great time. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely go back.

(more)The most remarkable aspect was that just one hour's drive from crowded Benidorm you can trek beautiful countryside without a tourist in site. The Elephant Transit Camp in Udawalawe was a fantastic example of the care Sri Lankans take of their wildlife, allowing close up views of baby elephants both in the camp and later in the National Park where the elephants are eventually re-released. (more)Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! We felt we had been away for more than two weeks as we transferred to the second centre for the Flotilla week, the most exciting moment of the Flotilla was sailing with dolphins swimming under our bow and then jumping out of the water and talking to us.
