The most memorable part was Abai Jungle lodge - so remote and romantic, plus tons of wildlife. It felt like the first time you visited a zoo.
(more)There were many memorable moments, but we loved arriving at Hin Boun park by boat - even if we did have to do a lot of pushing! and La Folie down in the south of Laos was perfect!
(more)The holiday was full of memorable experiences from our first day when we met our fantastic driver/guide, Kapila. He seemed to really enjoy sharing his knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna of Sri Lanka. He was also really good fun and so caring about our enjoyment and welfare - he became a real friend and we will keep in touch. (more)Trinidad was an amazing city and really touched our hearts, but having a car and the freedom to explore, and being able to see the real Cuba was the best thing we did. (more)It's hard to say what the most memorable thing was but one memory that stands out is being served an absolutely delicious breakfast every day at a table with a perfect white table cloth surrounded by flowers, friendly hens and kittens - all right on the edge of a stunning beach! When we reached our room and looked out over our balcony to the snow capped mountains above we knew we were in for a fabulous stay. Istanbul was a great place to stay, with so much to do. The accommodation was in a brilliant location to enjoy both the historic sights and going out. It has been beautifully restored and was perfect for a couple. (more) I would love to go back and do a horse-riding trip with the countess as the best way to see Transylvania close up!...It was absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to go back!

Manuele and Simone were extremely attentive and helpful and took a genuine interest in making sure that I had the best possible experience while staying at the accommodation. We loved the laid back attitude...On a few evenings we had dinner on the beach with a fire underneath the beautiful starry sky which we thought was quite special. (more)
We enjoyed every part of our holiday. The food was exceptional and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area. (more)
Our most memorable experience on the trip was our overnight stay in a village, with a Minority tribe... This was an incredible opportunity to really observe how the people live, and and to appreciate how different their lifestyle is! Sitting on a beach having a young sea lion coming up to me and rub his whiskers against my leg was touching. At every state Ihsan and everyone else gave us the impression that serving us at all hours of the day and night was their pleasure. It was a delight.
