The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener.

Really enjoyable, very well organised, much higher standard of transport, guiding and food than I had expected.

As each day passed it became my favourite day so far! The Inca Trail of course and the island home stay have to be my top two. The holiday was made all the more memorable because of the great group we were travelling with and of course our guide Dante.

An optional visit to a farm in the rainforest was real eye-opener. The Libertador Tambopata lodges were excellent and gave you a real feel for the rainforest.

Standing at the Sun's Gate looking down on Machu Picchu for the first time was awesome! Sitting on a beach having a young sea lion coming up to me and rub his whiskers against my leg was touching.

Excellent! Doing the Inca Trail was a spiritual experience. Our guide, Wilo went out of his way to point out orchids, great photography spots and had fantastic knowledge of the history of the area.

The holiday was superb from start to finish and far exceeded our expectations. The expected highlights of Macchu Picchu etc lived up to expectations with the remaining destinations visited exceeding them (rainforest... colca canyon and sacred valley).

Swimming in the Amazon, learning about the jungle and meeting a Shaman, Salsa dancing in Cusco, staying with a local family in Armanti and folk dancing to traditional music, the colours, textiles and crafts, music, food and drink

Visiting the Amazon Jungle was the 'unmissable' part! A unique environment to experience - the river, the heat and humidity, the giant trees and canopy, the sounds of the jungle; seeing animals, birds, a cayman and catching piranhas!

A fantastic experience to see some wonderful sights. We learned so much and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

The combination of the magnificant scenery plus the amazing Inca ruins made it especially memorable.

The most exciting part of my holiday was hiking through the Peruvian jungle and feeling like you were discovering the Incan ruins yourself.

The two most amazing pieces of the holiday were finally arriving at Machu Picchu and the truly beautiful lodge in the rain forest.
