Memorable parts? Seeing was believing when it came to the Taj Mahal, not many places live up to be better than you anticipate as this place did. My wife and I have done some travelling, but this has to be the most impressive building we have ever witnessed. The Taj Mahal was almost worth the tour fee alone. Tips? Do not be put off by such a cheap price for the package, if we had paid treble we still would have been getting value for money! Don't be put off by such high attention from... (more)Jonathan Kenyon

Memorable parts? It was all such a memorable trip! I guess the biggest pleasure I had this time was sharing my love of India with my 11 year old granddaughter. Jaipur was wonderful, as were the frescos in Nawalgarh and the amazing hotel in Surajgarh and I haven't mentioned Agra and Fatepur Sikri! Tips? Check the weather, it's cold overnight and early starts mean you need warm clothing as well as lighter cottons for the day time. My granddaughter had a problem with spicy food and... Memorable parts? As to be expected it was the Golden Temple and the Taj Mahal, but we really loved the amazing scenery in Himachal Pradesh, we hadn't expected it to be so beautiful and awe inspiring. Memorable parts? All visits to Rajastani palaces, forts and havelis were a fantastic experience, especially since the city guides were really good and very excited to tell us all about it. Memorable parts? Probably the meenakshi temple visit. I also thought Kerala was beautiful. Tips? I would advise other travelers to research the areas being visited because I didn't think there were enough interesting activities offered. Local benefits? Not sure. Overall rating? 2 stars. Make sure you have really warm clothing for early morning safari drives. Wear a hat unless you want to end up with tangled and dusty hair. Be prepared for giving lots of smallish tips to drivers, guides and hotel staff. You don't need any 'smart' clothes everyone dresses informally Local benefits? yes, definitley Overall...
