A lovely family holiday or romantic getaway, off the beaten track, true Italy at its best. Some fabulous restaurants in chiavenna and wonderful food and drink, simply gorgeous views, fresh air and zillions of places to go and see from lakes to quaint villages to deserted mountain treks

(more)The best memories I take away from this holiday are of the gorgeous springtime Sardinian scenery, eating enormous home-cooked meals at the agricoturismos and of the all-round kindness and generosity of everybody we met. This place is best enjoyed as an opportunity to take time out and relax rather than as a base for lots of excursions. 10/10 - wonderful! (more)One of the most memorable parts of my trip was a snorkelling excursion along the Golfo di Orosei. Along the way, as we sailed past all the stunning beaches and caves, Cinzia gave us plenty of information about the geography and nature along the coast, but all in a very humorous and fun way. Once in the crystal clear water we were lucky enough to see a couple of weird and wonderful creatures. (more)It was all that you imagine Tuscany to be - a converted farmhouse set in stunning countryside with a view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside that had to be seen to be believed and which afforded the sight of the most wonderful sunsets.
