Amalfi to Sorrento walking holiday in Italy
Memorable parts? The views and location by far - and with only a few exceptions the friendliness of the people and their willingness to speak English without any hint of frustration by your lack of Italian. The Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento deserves a special mention for its first class service across the board but particularly for its restaurant. Tips? Do not hesitate if you have the footwear for demanding terrain. The walking guide is detailed and comprehensive - it is wise to... (more)Christine Higgins

Pisa to Florence cycling holiday, Italy
Memorable parts? The whole trip was memorable... Tuscany is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. I think the most exciting part of the trip was when we were biking to Pisa and got our first glimpse of the leaning tower. It was so surreal! Tips? The Tuscany route offered is pretty challenging. When we booked this trip was described as light to moderate in difficulty however after finishing the tour and talking to the tour operator we were told it was one of the hardest... Amalfi Coast self guided walking holiday
Excellent...The organisation was faultless...Perhaps the most memorable moment was watching dolphins and seeing a large tuna fish on our way back from walking on Capri. (more)JANE MURDOCH
WONDERFUL. WOULD DO IT AGAIN. (more)Barbara Zoltick
It was a wonderful area to walk and I would highly recommend it. . The walking notes and accompanying commentaries are clear and interesting, maps are included and recommendations abound. (more)Anne Hazzard

Learn to dive in Sardinia, Italy
One of the most memorable parts of my trip was a snorkelling excursion along the Golfo di Orosei. Along the way, as we sailed past all the stunning beaches and caves, Cinzia gave us plenty of information about the geography and nature along the coast, but all in a very humorous and fun way. Once in the crystal clear water we were lucky enough to see a couple of weird and wonderful creatures. (more)Christine Morton
Brilliant scenery, great underwater wildlife and quiet roads. Cala Garone is absolutely idyllic in October. (more)Ann Windle
The diving was very flexible and went at our pace. I'd go back again - I'm hoping to finish some more advanced diving courses there. (more)Eimear Monaghan

Sardinia snorkelling holidays
We loved it and hope to return some day. We were well looked after; the accommodation was clean and comfortable, adequate rather than elaborate; the excursions were fascinating and well managed with good attention to safety; the staff, especially Cinzia, were friendly, encouraging, well organised and willing to be flexible to meet our requests. (more)Carole Eyles
The snorkelling trips in the gulf of Orosei. Stunning coast line and clear blue waters. Cinzia makes a great guide - she tells you lots of information and points out stuff while you're snorkelling. You go in caves and swim or snorkel for as long as you want, getting back in time for lunch. (more)Alan Macdonald
Snorkelling in azure waters amongst tiny blue fish with Eleonora Falcons flying overhead was the most memorable part. (more)Kerry Riddell

Sardinia diving holidays, Italy
There were five of us and my three children are aged 16, 18 and 20 and we all had a great time. The beaches are fabulous, much quieter than we thought they would be, locals were very friendly and proud to be Sardinian. (more)Mark Rhodes
Excellent....The actual scuba diving course was both challenging and a lot of fun - the staff were great - very generous with their time and encouragement and the island of Sardinia provided the perfect backdrop (more)Meta Rotenberg
Really really good...Definitely the diving as recommended by Responsible Travel, I'm hoping to go back next year. (more)Leanne Marshall

Mont Blanc self guided walking holidays
Overall we were all very happy with our holiday. Some overnight stays were wonderful, such as in Champex, beautiful setting and great food. (more)Elizabeth Kirchhoff
More awesome than just great!...Everything about this trip was memorable, going up passes crossing over to another country, the ever changing scenery, camaraderie, and able to complete the circuit without cheating, the storm and the animal... The most of all, the mountain huts, the hot showers, comfy beds, flush toilet and the food or should I say feast! I wish we have some of those in Canada. (more)shirry insole

Umbria walking holiday, Italy
Memorable parts? Walking through the olive groves from Spello to Assisi was amazing as was the Spello loop that took us up to a tiny village and then back around to Spello. The accommodation was certainly above our expectations with 4 of the 5 being absolutely fantastic and all were in fabulous locations. We were given recommendations for meals and none let us down. Tips? Take up the recommendations for restaurants- they were all great. Don't hurry you have plenty of time to really... (more)Lauren Marshall

Italian Riviera walking holiday, self guided
Memorable parts? Swimming in the sea below the ancient monastery at San Fruttuoso after a hot walk was just magical! Tips? The walks look short, but involve a lot of up and down so are more challenging than they initially appear. But the views make them absolutely worthwhile. Local benefits? It appeared there was a big effort to preserve the natural areas that were part of the walk. Overall rating? It was wonderful (more)Lynn Bowie

Dolomites walking holiday in Italy, self guided
Memorable parts? The diversity of flowers. We saw several Lady's Slipper orchids within an hour of arriving in the Dolomites. Tips? We were surprised by the numbers of people following the suggested walks so this is perhaps not a holiday for those wanting to escape from people. It is also not a holiday for those interested in walking as a means to see wildlife rather than just being interested in walking. We were surprised by the lack of available information on wildlife although... (more)Eileen Hardy

Long weekend cooking in Italy
The most memorable parts were: the people, being welcomed by a family (and the incredible 'mater familias' Assuntina), the scenery, the view from my room, the cooking, the food. (more)Marga Peters
The location is idyllic and the views and house are wonderful. The most memorable part was learning to make fresh pasta and being inspired to continue at home, and relaxing in the grounds. (more)Lindsey Evans
The beauty of the place, the warm of the house or maybe most of all the wonderful people we met there. I was looking forward the cooking lessons but we have found much more than that. (more)Anca Stanese
