Lapland family winter adventure holiday
Riding the snow mobiles over the most beautiful landscape in Nellim and experiencing the true culture of Finnish Lapland has to be the best, but there were so many things that we loved...other included tours that we did like the husky safari, cross country skiing, snow shoe walking... (more)Brenda Foster
The husky sledding was the most interactive and therefore enjoyable day...We had a very happy and relaxing time. The local activities (Haariniva) guide Jaako was a particularly motivated, able, caring, patient and sensible guy. The hotel facilities and staff were very good. (more)Alastair Deery
The holiday was, quite simply, fantastic and it is difficult to pick "best bits". For me it was simply being outdoors in a very different environment. (more)Elizabeth Johnston

Northern lights short break, Finland
It was in my top three holidays and I have travelled a lot. An absolute must! (more)Thomas White
The most memorable part of the holiday was husky sledging...Daughter said, "best holiday ever". (more)Alison Ferguson
When the skies opened up on our final night, it was like a big bow on top of a really special present. Amazing!...This was an amazing adventure. I would really recommend participating in all the activities as they provided me with an enthusiastic adventure each and every day. (more)Rene Ostapuk

Northern lights family holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? We loved all of it - the food, accommodation, tour guides and the northern lights were spectacular. The trip was very well organised and everything came together nicely. We travel a lot and this trip did not disappoint. Tips? Bring a hairdryer as there was not one in our room. We might have been able to borrow one - we didn't ask. Local benefits? Yes Overall rating? Excellent (more)Penny Salmon

Treehotel and Northern Lights holiday, Sweden
Memorable parts? The stay at the Tree Hotel was brilliant. The accommodation is great, the food delicious and the people wonderful. The whole experience was great, but probably the dog sledding outing was the stand-out element. Tips? Make sure you have a turn at driving the dog sled! If you're thinking of a visit to the Ice Hotel, go for a day trip, or stay in the warm accommodation. You can see all of the rooms in the actual Ice Hotel, but staying in one of the cold rooms involves... (more)Carole Thomas

Lapland Northern Lights holiday
Memorable parts? I went on this trip hoping to see the Northern Lights. We did not see them on this trip, but I enjoyed the trip so much, I would happily return, lights or no lights. Some memories: watching the beauty of a light snow falling on pine trees from the dining room while enjoying a lunch of homemade soup and bread (I don't see much snow where I live), traveling through the woods on a sledge pulled by snowmobiles while covered with blankets , a very good talk about the Northern... Cross country skiing in Lapland
The most memorable part of the holiday has to be seeing the Northern Lights from our wilderness cabin. We had the most amazing display at midnight one evening and stood just outside the cabin watching the dancing lights. (more)Hilary Guite
The most memorable part was witnessing one of the best displays of the aurora ever!! Also, being converted from hardcore carnivore to actually liking vegetables!! Maya is a very good cook. (more)Mei Yoke Chan
Excellent. My final words to the owners, Mikael and Maya, were "Don't change anything!"...We travel a lot and have all shapes and sizes of holidays, good and not so good. This one was faultless and good value for money. Also an extraordinary Northern Lights display one night. (more)Jim Kieran

Swedish Lapland winter activity holiday & Northern Lights
I rate this trip extremely highly. Accommodation was great, food was excellent, weather was great, skiing and staying out in the wilderness was fantastic, northern lights spectacular, snow rolling sauna a whole lot of fun. (more)Anwen Victory
The most memorable part was living in the wilderness with no running water or electricity and in the company of a lovely first class guide. (more)Jan McGourty
More than 10 out of 10, amazing, fabulous and i really didnít want to leave at all...Standing near our cabin in the wilderness in silence so absolute, you could hear a plane so far away you could barely see it and hear the water in the river over 5km away was the mostmemorable part. Family multi activity week in Finland
We all agreed that the husky safari was the best part of the trip. The kids enjoyed cuddling the dogs very much; they were the friendliest bunch of dogs ever seen. (more)Leontine Mastenbroek
The most memorable feature of the holiday - to the average city-dwelling Brit - was the landscape. Forests and frozen lakes, big skies and 18-hours of daylight - our girls were convinced they were in Narnia (the thaw suggesting Aslan would arrive soon). (more)Anon
The best part of the holiday was the husky safari, followed by the snow mobiling. The walk on the first day was good - but we would have liked to have done more/gone a bit further. (more)Liz Gregory

Winter holiday in Finnish Lapland
Very good. Jeris resort is quiet away from crowds, good resting place after long active days. Good overall package, good food quality and quantity. Friendly staff. You need to help with feeding dogs and collect firewood, but wilderness cabin is a great experience. Open fires warm it up, is cosy. (more)Peter Varnes
Excellent! We managed to pack in a taster of most activities during our 4 day stay and found time to explore on our own too. Jeris Hotel where we stayed is friendly, comfortable, welcoming and is in the most beautiful setting on the lakeside. (more)Janet Anderson
A good all-round winter activity experience; value-for-money. (more)Carolyn Neville

Northern Lights holiday, Finnish Lapland
Really fantastic. Extremely memorable and has really whetted my appetite to explore more of this fascinating region - both at this time of year, and in summertime too. (more)Hannah Smith
In one word: FANTASTIC. We were able to engage in such delightful winter activities which we had never done before. Weather was perfect, everyone at the hotel just as pleasant and accommodating as could be, food VERY good and special meals were prepared for me as I am a vegetarian. I would like nothing better than to go back for another visit. (more)Inge David
The most exciting part was being propulsed to a different world for the space of 3 days!...A great great experience. (more)Daniele Bourdais
