I am reborn! Simply the best holiday I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
The most memorable parts of the holiday were Camel ride round the Pyramids (you do have to barter hard), Abel Simbel and best of all Valley of the Kings. (more)Jo Carter
The whole holiday has been a dream of mine for 25 years and it more than lived up to expectations. The pyramids, temples and tombs were amazing. The Nile cruise was 10 times better than we expected - lovely staff and surroundings, especially the surprise animals made out of towels on our beds each night! (more)Janice Gould
The whole Egypt holiday was memorable and each part was different and equally exciting. Spent a few days in Cairo seeing the sights - the Pyramids are phenomenal. (more)Irene Ennenga
The trip on a Dahabiya "Princess Donia" was the most memorable moment. Floating so gracefully down the Nile in the sanctuary of such a small boat with only 10 passengers and being so graciously cared for by the 9 staff. (more)Caroline Blundell
The most memorable part was sightseeing in Egypt - guided tours in Cairo. (more)Michael Salomon
It was ALL amazing without exception. Sunrise at Abu Simbel, donkey ride overlooking Valley of the Kings, gliding along the Nile in a felucca, King Tut collection in Cairo, camel riding at the pyramids, etc. etc. (more)Belinda Wade
Definitely the Abu Simbel Sun Miracle we were able to witness and experience was the highlight. To be able to see 3 of the 4 pharaohs light up from sun coming through, was an experience we will never forget. (more)Lori Bautista
The owners of Nubia House are extraordinarily gracious and really want you to experience the Nubian way of life; their guest house is decorated in traditional handicrafts, they serve excellent homemade Nubian food, and the atmosphere is serene (more)Janice Darling
The tour guides provided historical background and information on the sights to stimulate our imagination and awe. Ahmed, our guide in Luxor and Aswan was knowledgeable, answered all our questions and patiently taught us to read hieroglyphics carved in the temples. (more)Hou-Yin Ma
My most memorable part of my holiday was my visit to The Pyramids of Giza, Abu Simbel and Karnak Temple. Part of the reason I consider my entire trip memorable is because of my tour guides. (more)Mary Lyons
Most memorable? I think the Pyramids at Giza and the paintings in the tomb of Ramses I, or perhaps it was the gold mask of Tutankamun, or was it the statue of Ramses II at Memphis... it was always a jaw-dropping moment at each place we visited.
The guides in Cairo and in Shram were of great help, involved and dedicated. They made the stay worth it....Excellent because the people that I met prove to be very interested, interesting and prepared to share their culture. (more)Louis Boucher
We liked visiting the pyramids on the back of a camel and the Valley of the Kings very much. As one of our tour guides was so kind to invite us to his home we could meet his family and get an idea how people live in Egypt today. (more)Boris Schaeling
Most memorable were the wonderful ancient monuments we visited - in particular Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple - but also Luxor temple, Kom Ombo and Karnak. Also the beautiful vistas on the Nile and sailing in a felucca. (more)Lekha Klouda
The attention given to us by our leader Mohammed he made sure we did not miss anything
This is not a relaxing holiday there are early starts and long days but well worth it the train journey is long and not smooth all the way
5 star apart from the train journey. Saw everything we wanted plus more. It was a fabulous holiday, Mohammed is so knowledgeable - he is a credit to your company. Well done!
Far more interesting than expected. The expanse of history was staggering and seeing places like the Valley of the Kings that we’ve read about forever was incredible. For the kids it was Tutankhamen’s tomb and later the contents at the Cairo museum. Bassam, our guide in Cairo was the standout. He was phenomenally knowledgeable, charming, great with children and a very interesting person. He was prepared to talk about anything including current Egyptian politics and was easily... The amazing sites of ancient Egyptian civilisation were very well commented and
made to come alive by our very good guides Joseph and Mohamed from the operator...Excellent, we were extremely well looked after by staff. (more)Christa Gonschorrek Noguera
One of the best holidays we've ever had, and will definitely be back, especially to the sites of upper Egypt. My children, aged 13 and 11, and 72 year-old mother all loved it too, so it is very well suited to a wide age range. (more)Penny Shankar
The journeys on the small boats on the Nile meant that families were also able to eek out a living and help to preserve the way of life that has been customary to them for hundreds of years whilst still allowing new technologies to embrace and enhance their lives.
As a couple who have travelled extensively around the world, this is one of our most memorable and enjoyable holidays. (more)Alan Pavey
The side excursions like the donkey ride, horse & buggy, Nubian Museum were the most memorable part. (more)Carolyn Muegge-Vaughan
The Nile cruise and regular stop over points were both unique and spectacular. As someone who has travelled quite widely across the globe, Egypt offers something very different. (more)Paul Hide
