Tailor made holiday in Peru
Memorable parts? EVERYTHING - it was just great! Tips? To inform themselves very early (6 month before booking) to get the most out of it. We therefore had the best holidays ever and people we met on our tour were just jealouse, because we could do all the cool stuff (we had organised the permits for Huayna Picchu, the Trek to Huchuy Qosqo etc.) Local benefits? Yes I do Overall rating? Great! (more)Barbara Buchegger

The holiday overall was amazing, there were so many memorable experiences it is difficult to name only one thing. If we had to choose it would have to be turtle watching on Rekawa beach. (more)Jude Lambert

Philippines tailor made holiday
Memorable parts? The Alona Palm Beach is a very well run beach-side resort in Panglao Island, Bohol, definitely recommend it to anyone. The setting, the management, villas, pool and the restaurant were very good - but at a price. Another highlight is Palawan. Apart from the snorkelling and diving in El Nido, a whole island is a gem - it is all still covered by rainforest, a lot more wild then even Borneo with its oil palm plantations. A Bambua resort and organic farm in Sabang - definitely... (more)Andrey Zvoznikov

The autumn colours were just amazing in Japan. Its a fascinating culture with so many memorable experiences, just a few spring to mind, walking the Nakesendo highway, staying at the Mitsui Garden hotel in Tokyo, the views are mind blowing from here, Geisha spotting in Kyoto... (more)Katherine Windibank
In all honesty it is very hard to pin point one defining moment. It was all brilliant. (more)Alan Brownlow

New Zealand holidays, tailor made
Memorable parts? We had a wonderful holiday. Loved New Zealand, what is there not to like? Beautiful countryside, lovely people, lots to do and a nation that is responsible in maintaining the environment. Hard to pick most memorable....both my husband and I did a 2 day horse trek and we had a ball. Then landing on a glacier in a ski plane was awesome. Can't overlook the wonderful people we met everywhere, they made the trip! My personal favorite place was Arthur's Pass at the Wilderness Lodge.... (more)Cathy Shiner

Honeymoon in Brazil
Memorable parts? We spent almost 3 weeks in Brazil and every part of the holiday was amazing. It is difficult to pick a single most memorable part of the holiday but I think it would be between staying at Las Cataratas hotel overlooking Iguazu Falls waking up to the sound of the rushing water and wild toucans playing outside our window, and watching the sunset over Rio from the top of Sugar Loaf mountain! Tips? We were on honeymoon and organised our holiday through this tour operator... (more)Richard Wright

Argentina tailormade luxury holiday
Each part was equally memorable as they offered a unique experience from other elements of the holiday. It benefited local people in that tourism is a form of job creation, whether for a hotelier, chef, waiter, tour guide, driver etc and must benefit local economies. (more)Edward Martin
What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday? The scenery around Bariloche, but there were so many highlights it is difficult to pick out just one. (more)Douglas Pickles
Our entire holiday was memorable. Colonia was lovely and the town was a very nice place to relax a couple of days before heading to Pantagonia in Argentina. (more)Susan Hamilton

Peru holiday, Tambopata & Inca Trail
Memorable parts? Visiting Machu Picchu - simply breathtaking! Tips? You can never have too many changes of clothes for the jungle... Local benefits? Yes. Overall rating? Vietnam tailor made holiday, North to South
...our overall experience was amazing! We loved the people and the variety of Vietnamese countryside. We feel that this trip was a quick tour of the country and would love to return to visit areas we did not have time to visit (e.g. the national parks) and revisit areas for longer (e.g. a home stay and trek in Sapa). (more)Tracey Warren
Exceptional...The trip to Halong Bay was the most exciting part of the trip. (more)Richard Mcleish

The tour operator is a superb company - highly recommended. (more)John Richardson
Excellent - very interesting, some spectacular scenery and great weather and people. (more)Mark Stamper

Ecuador and Galapagos holiday
Memorable parts? Zip-Lining in the Cloud Forest but the Galapagos was amazing. Tips? Definitely take a torch, wet weather clothing and a sense of humour. Local benefits? Yes, definitely. Overall rating? Brilliant but the cloud forest was a bit disappointing as we had continual rain and saw very few animals or birds. This also occurred in the Amazon. We were told by the operator that rain was minimal with short bursts. Obviously a joke. (more)Anne Goffin
From £4345 - £4555 excluding flights
Peru holiday, Inca Trail, Cusco & Lake Titicaca
Inca trail and Machu Picchu was the most memorable part of the holiday (more)Mandy Risso
The Andean explorer train ride from Cusco to Lake Titicaca was an excellent way to see many aspects of Peru from the city suburbs through the slums then farming communities, through the middle of market towns and past the spectacular backdrop of the Andes. (more)Jane Lines
The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener. (more)Chris Simmons
From £2155 excluding flights
Argentina & Uruguay tailormade luxury holiday
Memorable parts? Tipiluke Lodge was in a wonderful location, the staff were so friendly and the food and accommodation fantastic. We do not fish but had a great time riding around the estancia. Tips? In Calafate make sure you have prebooked a glacier trip. Local benefits? Yes. Overall rating? Good. (more)Elizabeth Warren
From £2700 including domestic flights only
Jordan holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? The Feynan lodge is a terrific place to stay, and the walk down from Dana is a very enjoyable one, through surprisingly varied scenery. Tips? Jordan is a very friendly, welcoming country, with plenty to see and do. It is quite compact, so there are not long distances to travel. We stayed for 10 days, and would happily have stayed longer, but equally it makes a good destination for a shorter break as well. Local benefits? Yes, to a large extent. It is a pity...
