Tailor made holiday in Peru
Memorable parts? EVERYTHING - it was just great! Tips? To inform themselves very early (6 month before booking) to get the most out of it. We therefore had the best holidays ever and people we met on our tour were just jealouse, because we could do all the cool stuff (we had organised the permits for Huayna Picchu, the Trek to Huchuy Qosqo etc.) Local benefits? Yes I do Overall rating? Great! (more)Barbara Buchegger

The autumn colours were just amazing in Japan. Its a fascinating culture with so many memorable experiences, just a few spring to mind, walking the Nakesendo highway, staying at the Mitsui Garden hotel in Tokyo, the views are mind blowing from here, Geisha spotting in Kyoto... (more)Katherine Windibank
In all honesty it is very hard to pin point one defining moment. It was all brilliant. (more)Alan Brownlow

Rajasthan luxury tours
Excellent. We had wonderful hosts, good guides and great value. We will no doubt use them again for other trips and endeavours. (more)Scott and San
Our trip had an incredibly personal and intimate feel throughout-an experience that could never be matched by a packaged tour. (more)Leigh Anne
Be prepared to be 'blown away'. The owners are fully involved in conservation - they have their own reserve which has been highly successful in increasing the numbers of an endangered cat species. If you want to see a fascinating part of India and stay in some fascinating places, this is the trip for you. My friend and I absolutely loved it. (more)(Edwina) Jayne Rudge

Kerala luxury holiday
This was definitely a 4-star holiday!...By far the most memorable part for us was the houseboat cruise on the back waters. Two nights on a barge - we loved the leisurely pace as we moved slowly along the rivers, giving plenty of time for watching birds and also watching life as lived alongside the river. (more)Aldyth Rowe
Excellent...The backwaters trip and the stay at Serenity were the most memorable parts. (more)john still
It was a 100% enjoyable experience. We got really far off the beaten track & to the real Southern India (Kerala & Tamil Nadu). Seeing lots of wild fauna & flora, including elephant three times. (more)John Tams-Gray

The whole trip was fabulous, we loved every part of the itinerary. The best bits were swimming outdoors in the Wadi Bani Khalid and in the Bimmah sinkhole, and also seeing turtles on the beach at night (we were lucky). (more)Anisha Palan

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They put together the perfect package for our honeymoon. We can't thank them enough. (more)Christina Lloyd
Most memorable was sailing down the river in our private boat in kalamantan looking at the orangutans swinging through the jungle and staying on a remote island near komodo snarkling and watching the birds. (more)Amanda Law

Tailor made Rajasthan tour, India
Memorable parts? History and culture. I enjoyed the amazing hotels we stayed in that were beautiful locations and historical. Tips? Due to distance between locations, ensure there are two nights at every hotel. There is significant time spent driving (in a car) between each location. If flying from Delhi during December / January be aware of fog delaying / cancelling flights. Local benefits? We visited local communities (e.g. Bishnoi, Samode) but not sure how it benefitted... Vietnam tailor made holidays
We enjoyed it all - wonderful food, pleasant, well informed guides, new experiences. Hanoi is a beautiful and really buzzing city; we'd love to go back. Mai Chau valley is beautiful and developing fast; Halong is like visiting another planet - so strange, so awe-inspiring. (more)Patricia Stoat
It was a great holiday, and it is very hard to single out one thing. Our trip to the northeast was one of the best bits (I was honoured to be invited to join the other giggling grannies on the floor of the Tay house - if only I was as limber as they are!). (more)Margery Nzerem

Sabah & Sarawak holiday in Borneo
It was an amazing wildlife adventure - I feel very fortunate to have seen freshly hatched baby green turtles and wild orangutans. (more)Claire Onody
There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists! (more)Jonathan Reed-Lethbridge

South India holiday
Kerala was incredible from start to finish. As we came to each destination the only word that fit was ' paradise' (more)Samantha Smith
A holiday to suit a wide age range. Safe, friendly and we were able to learn so much about the culture of Kerala. One of the best holidays. 10/10 (more)Joanna Allman
It was marvellous. We had local drivers and guides, stayed in locally owned guest houses/hotels, ate local foods, bought souvenirs from co-ops and government stores. (more)Ruth Smithies

Sri Lanka and Maldives holidays
The most memorable part of our holiday was snorkelling in the Maldives. It was amazing to see sharks, fish and sea turtles on the reef. It was a surreal experience...Overall, I would rate our holiday 10/10. We had a great time in all the countries we visited, the locals were very friendly and hospitable. (more)Tracy Watson
Flying in a seaplane over the Maldives and landing in the lagoon by Filitheyo Island where we spent an amazing week was the most memorable part. (more)Greg Harris
Very happy with our holiday, certainly related to the quality of the different guest houses. (more)Tinnes Sebastien

Indonesia holidays, tailor made, Orangutans & Komodo dragons
Fantastic! It was incredible to have everything pre-arranged and all the logistics sorted out for us, so relaxing and just what we needed after a hectic wedding! Most memorable was staying with the Iban tribe and seeing the orangutans in Sarawak, and Borobudur at sunset in Java. (more)Portia Lloyd
Really brilliant - it was our honeymoon and we really had a fabulous time. It was so well organised by the operator which took a lot of the stress out of travelling which was exactly what we needed with such a complicated itinerary. The hotels we stayed in were second to none - really fabulous and we were spoilt rotten! (more)Erin Bunting
Seeing the orang-utans at Tanjung Puting National Park was the highlight, followed closely by the couple of days spent on board the boat to Komodo Island. The orang-utans were a joy to watch and we felt privileged to see these animals in their natural habitat. (more)Kathryn White

Peru holiday, Cusco to Lake Titicaca
Memorable parts? The trip up to Machu Puchi, our guide Wilfredo was very knowledgeable and stopped to let us drink in the pure awesomeness of it all and when we reached the top the feeling was surreal and brought not just a lump to my throat but a tear to my ear. Tips? Take plenty of insect repellent as the mosquitos are in their millions Local benefits? Peru's main economy is from mining but all our guides stressed how important tourism is to their country Overall rating? My... (more)John Hawkins

Jordan holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? The Feynan lodge is a terrific place to stay, and the walk down from Dana is a very enjoyable one, through surprisingly varied scenery. Tips? Jordan is a very friendly, welcoming country, with plenty to see and do. It is quite compact, so there are not long distances to travel. We stayed for 10 days, and would happily have stayed longer, but equally it makes a good destination for a shorter break as well. Local benefits? Yes, to a large extent. It is a pity... (more)Edward Milford

Colombia holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? Loved the Colombian people; loved Bogota; Medellin & Cartagena. Tips? Be aware in advance of the length of time it takes to get served in restaurants and the blandness of the food. Also we found the guides to be uninspiring. Colombia needs to invest in these areas in order to drive tourism in a positive was. Local benefits? Yes. Overall rating? It was good and very enjoyable overall - we saw a huge amount of the country and had many different experiences. (more)Helen Cosgrove

Rajasthan art history & architecture tour
Memorable parts? There were two big parts of our holiday: the culture and the nature. From a cultural perspective, we learned so much about the history of various cultures within Rajasthan. The forts we visited (Mehrangarh, Roopangarh, Amber) were amazing, but the highlight was definitely staying at Jog Niwas, where our host/organizer Shanane Davis lives. She taught us so much about patronage and connoisseurship, sharing with our whole family a remarkably vast knowledge about textiles, art,... (more)Robert Macauley

Cambodia & Vietnam classic tour
Memorable parts? It is hard to be specific as everything was memorable, from the chaotic city of Hanoi to the tranquil waterways of the Mekong. The Killing Fields is a very moving experience and makes you realise how lucky we are in the UK. The local people we met in our accommodation were delightful they made our holiday. Angker Wat was spectacular at sunrise, the serene majesty of Halong Bay. Out itinerary was busy but enjoyable we experienced a fantastic culture unlike anything experienced... (more)John Finneran

Beach holiday & tour in Sri Lanka
Whale Watching and Wildlife Safari was the most memorable part of this trip (more)Phil Miller
The accommodation was the most luxurious, most welcoming, most helpful place we have ever stayed in; and the walks through the tea estate with idyllic views of the reservoir and surrounding hills, both relaxing and inspiring. (more)Ruth Le Guen

History, culture & wildlife of India holiday
The most exciting part was not on the original programme. We asked Rajat to give us somewhat more nature and less culture. He arranged for us to spend a day and two nights in a resort on the Kabini Lake, across from the Nagarhole National Park. On a boat safari at dusk, amidst myriad birds and beasts, we saw a male tiger emerging muddily from the river, slinking into the jungle. (more)Robin Fox
Excellent, we enjoyed it all. The two home stays were an amazing part of our trip. Take the plunge and travel on an overnight train with shared accommodation. It's a great experience. (more)Caroline Powell
The most memorable parts were staying at the home of the Kumars, visiting Golden Temple at Amritsar and WildFlower Hall...Outstanding. (more)Andrew Hollas

Honeymoon to Sri Lanka
Most memorable were Seeing the (many, many) elephants by jeep safari in the national park...Climbing up Sigirya rock and admiring the spectacular views, and then swimming in the hotel pool beneath during the stormy monsoon rain....We really enjoyed our snapshot of Sri Lanka and would love to go back sometime. (more)Joanna Brown
A great experience with a good insight into the diverse nature and culture of Sri Lanka and its people and religions. It was definitely worth all the planning and the cost and we would probably go again given the opportunity in the future. (more)Alastair Francis
The most memorable part was definitely the look of pure joy on my wife's face when taking a bath with an elephant at the Millenium Foundation... (more)John Dodson

Jordan holiday, tailormade
Very many memorable parts - Swimming in the Dead Sea, relaxing on the red Sea in Aqaba and seeing Petra, I will never ever forget. (more)Davida Golden
The highlight was being driven through Wadi Rum by a wonderful guide, seeing the amazing rock formations and experiencing the emptyness of it all. (more)Margery Nzerem
Firstly, our personal guide, Mahmoud, was brilliant...Petra was absolutely breathtaking. We spent 3 days there and even though you are expecting it to be the highlight of your trip, it still manages to amaze you! (more)Simon Irons

Egypt holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? Seeing the ancient Egyptian sites that are so old and so famous, to actually see them in real life. And to be able to see so much in a few days without feeling rushed! Tips? It is worth if possible to book a private guide, as the only (somewhat) negative comment is that with a big group (off the cruise) the guided tours are not as interesting than when it is exactly according to your timetable and interests. Local benefits? Yes, in principle, but given the... (more)Katrin Nyman-Metcalf

Malaysia tailor made holiday
Memorable parts? Difficult to say as all four venues were wonderful but Pangkor Laut Island was just perfect. Not cheap but worth it, the resort and staff were absolutely fantastic, definitely a 5 star location. Tips? Bear in mind the travel required, most transfers were around three hours so this can eat into a day in soom places so book an extra night where you think you may not have enough time but on the whole 2 or 3 nights is plenty to get a good view of all the areas. Local... (more)Julie Dyson

Short break to Petra, Jordan
Fantastic. We fitted so much into 5 days, and stretched ourselves physically & culturally. It was a great trip. (more)Nicole Stallard
Petra was the most memorable part of the holiday. (more)Geraldine Hillmale
Petra was much bigger than expected, the camel ride easier, and the scenery more spectacular than we imagined... It was a great way to see a lot of Jordan quickly - a charming country with open, friendly residents. (more)Mary Clark

Fabulous 10 out of 10...the best part was sailing down the Mekong River from Northern Thailand to Luang Prabang. (more)Sarah blagdon
There were many memorable moments, but we loved arriving at Hin Boun park by boat - even if we did have to do a lot of pushing! and La Folie down in the south of Laos was perfect! (more)Lesley Duncan
