The time spent on Chumbe was so relaxing in on idyllic paradise Island & with it's eco ethics it is a place with a truly great purpose. (more)Becky Jones
Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala. (more)Joanne Davenport

Tailor made holiday in Peru
Memorable parts? EVERYTHING - it was just great! Tips? To inform themselves very early (6 month before booking) to get the most out of it. We therefore had the best holidays ever and people we met on our tour were just jealouse, because we could do all the cool stuff (we had organised the permits for Huayna Picchu, the Trek to Huchuy Qosqo etc.) Local benefits? Yes I do Overall rating? Great! (more)Barbara Buchegger

Kerala luxury holiday
This was definitely a 4-star holiday!...By far the most memorable part for us was the houseboat cruise on the back waters. Two nights on a barge - we loved the leisurely pace as we moved slowly along the rivers, giving plenty of time for watching birds and also watching life as lived alongside the river. (more)Aldyth Rowe
Excellent...The backwaters trip and the stay at Serenity were the most memorable parts. (more)john still
It was a 100% enjoyable experience. We got really far off the beaten track & to the real Southern India (Kerala & Tamil Nadu). Seeing lots of wild fauna & flora, including elephant three times. (more)John Tams-Gray

Tailor made holiday in Brazil
We had a morning horse riding down a flooded area at the start, with our feet touching the water, and then across more open country; the wild flowers and birds were amazing. A 5.30 am canoe trip which was magical, so quiet and peaceful, seeing the beauty of the sun rising and hearing the early morning bird song; the canoe being so quiet we were able to get very close to birds before they flew. Later that afternoon we visited a fishing village down the river and were invited into their one room house... (more)Harvey Bromley
The Pantanel and Iguacu were wonderful. The Pousada at the Pantanel was great with wildlife wandering all over the place and the food was good too. (more)Linda White
The arrangements went like clockwork and all the guides and drivers were very friendly and helpful...fantastic holiday. (more)Jill Joseph

Safaris fund conservation. The whole tour was superb. From meeting our guide at the airport to our day of departure we enjoyed every new experience. We were helped every step of the way by Upul, our excellent Guide. (more)Derek Putnam
First and foremost, it has to be said that Sri Lanka did not disappoint us in any way! We were always greeted with warmth waves and smiles! It has to be one of the friendliest countries I've visited and it was for the most part very clean. (more)Lori Keating
The holiday overall was amazing, there were so many memorable experiences it is difficult to name only one thing. If we had to choose it would have to be turtle watching on Rekawa beach. (more)Jude Lambert

Rajasthan luxury tours
Be prepared to be 'blown away'. The owners are fully involved in conservation - they have their own reserve which has been highly successful in increasing the numbers of an endangered cat species. If you want to see a fascinating part of India and stay in some fascinating places, this is the trip for you. My friend and I absolutely loved it. (more)(Edwina) Jayne Rudge
Every moment was memorable and there was such a diversity of places to stay and things to do that every day was exciting. (more)Sheila Taylor

Tailor made Rajasthan tour, India
Memorable parts? History and culture. I enjoyed the amazing hotels we stayed in that were beautiful locations and historical. Tips? Due to distance between locations, ensure there are two nights at every hotel. There is significant time spent driving (in a car) between each location. If flying from Delhi during December / January be aware of fog delaying / cancelling flights. Local benefits? We visited local communities (e.g. Bishnoi, Samode) but not sure how it benefitted... (more)Tracey Warren

Polar Bear watching holiday, Canada

We enjoyed it all - wonderful food, pleasant, well informed guides, new experiences. Hanoi is a beautiful and really buzzing city; we'd love to go back. Mai Chau valley is beautiful and developing fast; Halong is like visiting another planet - so strange, so awe-inspiring. (more)Patricia Stoat
It was a great holiday, and it is very hard to single out one thing. Our trip to the northeast was one of the best bits (I was honoured to be invited to join the other giggling grannies on the floor of the Tay house - if only I was as limber as they are!). (more)Margery Nzerem

Tailor made tours of Oman
Driving through a Wadi with water flowing through it. Driving the sand dunes in the desert. The mountain scenery is great. (more)Adrian O Malley
The most memorable part was the surprise at arriving at the camp in the Wahiba Sands for our night of Wild Camping and instead of finding the little 2-man tent that we had expected we found a luxury tent complete with bathroom, proper beds, carpets, oriental cushions and lanterns which had been set up just for us. (more)Sally Frohlich
Driving down to Wadi Bani Awf. Awesome. Also the night in the desert where the operator found us a camp where we were completely alone, 8 km through the dunes from the main camp, itself small and remoter than the bigger camps. (more)Peta Constable

Trinidad and Tobago nature tours
They have a philosophy where their priority is for conservation and education, trying to increase local people's knowledge of local flora and fauna, they also educate young people to become guides. (more)Val Wilkie
The stars of the fortnight were definitely the birds: from thousands of scarlet ibis coming in to roost, tiny iridescent hummingbirds battling over sugar feeders, beautiful elegant tropic birds soaring above or comical tiny male manakins dancing to attract a female. Undersea life was a very close second - it was like swimming in an aquarium just a few metres off shore. (more)Julia Chandler
Wonderful, loved being surrounded by nature. The leatherback turtles laying on the beach was also a highlight. (more)Rosie Sutcliffe
From £2395 - £3150 including UK flights

Memorable parts? Swimming with sea-lions in the Galapagos. Tips? Don't delay! There wasn't anything I could fault. Local benefits? Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley

Selous Game Reserve safari, Tanzania
Most memorable was having such close contact with the animals as the lodges were not enclosed. In Ruaha River Lodge a male elephant crossed the river while we sat watching from our verandah and went beside our house to wander round the lodge. (more)Sheila Lucas
There were too many moments, the entire trip was memorable and exciting. I absolutely adored Sable Mountain Lodge, it was beautiful and relaxing. (more)Lisa Schooley
Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize. (more)Jo Maw
From £2570 - £2755 excluding flights
Sri Lanka and Maldives holidays
The most memorable part of our holiday was snorkelling in the Maldives. It was amazing to see sharks, fish and sea turtles on the reef. It was a surreal experience...Overall, I would rate our holiday 10/10. We had a great time in all the countries we visited, the locals were very friendly and hospitable. (more)Tracy Watson
Flying in a seaplane over the Maldives and landing in the lagoon by Filitheyo Island where we spent an amazing week was the most memorable part. (more)Greg Harris
Very happy with our holiday, certainly related to the quality of the different guest houses. (more)Tinnes Sebastien
From £3495 including UK flights
Indonesia holidays, tailor made, Orangutans & Komodo dragons
Fantastic! It was incredible to have everything pre-arranged and all the logistics sorted out for us, so relaxing and just what we needed after a hectic wedding! Most memorable was staying with the Iban tribe and seeing the orangutans in Sarawak, and Borobudur at sunset in Java. (more)Portia Lloyd
Really brilliant - it was our honeymoon and we really had a fabulous time. It was so well organised by the operator which took a lot of the stress out of travelling which was exactly what we needed with such a complicated itinerary. The hotels we stayed in were second to none - really fabulous and we were spoilt rotten! (more)Erin Bunting
Seeing the orang-utans at Tanjung Puting National Park was the highlight, followed closely by the couple of days spent on board the boat to Komodo Island. The orang-utans were a joy to watch and we felt privileged to see these animals in their natural habitat. (more)Kathryn White

The autumn colours were just amazing in Japan. Its a fascinating culture with so many memorable experiences, just a few spring to mind, walking the Nakesendo highway, staying at the Mitsui Garden hotel in Tokyo, the views are mind blowing from here, Geisha spotting in Kyoto... (more)Katherine Windibank
In all honesty it is very hard to pin point one defining moment. It was all brilliant. (more)Alan Brownlow

South India holiday
Stay as long as you can, it will be too short. We had three weeks and wished it was longer. (more)Judith Myers
The holiday was completely wonderful in every way. The whole holiday was memorable beyond expectation but if I have to chose one element that was most memorable it's the organiser Ravi Kumar and his wonderful family at Aakriti who treated me like a loved family member (more)Nelson Jeannette
It was fascinating to experience a little part of this remarkable mixture. The visit to the backwaters - which included 24 hours on our boat - was particularly worthwhile. This is an area of lakes, rivers and small canals quite unlike any other we have visited. (more)John Burley

Excellent! (more)Jan Baker
Five stars! We had an incredible adventure for our honeymoon, and hope to go back. Southern India is breathtaking, and we had nothing but good experiences with all of the people and companies we traveled with. (more)Robyn Nadolny
Excellent, I can't say enough good things about the trip and the experience....There were two very memorable parts of the holiday. Sabah & Sarawak holiday in Borneo
It was an amazing wildlife adventure - I feel very fortunate to have seen freshly hatched baby green turtles and wild orangutans. (more)Claire Onody
There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists! (more)Jonathan Reed-Lethbridge
From £2535 including UK flights
Tanzania luxury safari
Memorable parts? The amount of animals we saw on safari. Tips? Avoid the Serena Serengeti hotel, not the best, service bad, food bad and rooms a bit shabby. Local benefits? No Overall rating? Brilliant - 9 out of 10. (more)Joanne Longhurst
From £5785 including domestic flights only
Cambodia tailor made holiday
Memorable parts? How to decide between so many great moments. It must have been either the cooking class or the circus. But generally, as cliched as it is, the best part were the people. Both our wonderful guides and the others we met. So friendly and releaxed, not as in your face as in other Asian countries I visited. Tips? When you visit the Killing Fields, also visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. The two sites belong together to grasp the history of the country, and can easily... (more)Gerhard Kordmann

Diving holiday in Gozo, Malta
Memorable parts? Farmhouse was huge. Diving was incredible. Local food delicious whether you are in or out. Tips? Gozo is very quiet and maybe too quiet for some. We loved it but we had the diving to keep us entertained. Local benefits? Yes to a large degree. We used local shops and restaurants. The dive school was British but it was well run and took care of us and the environment. Overall rating? We had a wonderful time. Everything was fabulous. Only a few small... (more)Jane Carpenter
