Deborah is a fine host with a wonderful cottage set in a beautiful location abounding with lovely, friendly animals. A perfect getaway and base to explore this stunning part of Lycia. (more)JOHN COLGAN
The most memorable part of the holiday was seeing the cottage for the first time as it was so much nicer than we had even hoped for! (more)Portia Dunmore
The most memorable part was the accommodation's location. It was great to be up in a little village, very peaceful, away from the pre-season warm up mode of Kalkan and surrounded by locals. (more)Amy Hill

We rented a house so the most memorable part was arriving and finding a lovely place that was ours for a week. The house is very well equipped, comfortable, with a beautiful garden, access to the sea and a nice (shared) swimming pool. (more)Elizabeth Caird

Lycian Way walking tour in Turkey
Memorable parts? The campsite the night before climbing Mt Olympus, with its beautiful location. Tips? Be prepared for some undulating and fairly sweaty walking. The terrain is fairly consistently pine forestry; it isn’t all coastal views as you might expect. All around a nice slice of Turkey, with the rest day in an idyllic location at the beach on Cirali. Local benefits? I really enjoyed getting to know the guides. However there was not too much interaction with other local... (more)Holly Hutton

Faralya boutique hotel, near Oludeniz
Memorable parts? A small boat trip on the turquoise coast and watching the sun set every night from our balcony. Small compact and bijou with some much fruit and veg locally produced and good (if repetitive) food. Also very much enjoyed exploring some of the many ancient ruined cities. Tips? There are more bees than you can imagine so those with a sting allergy be aware, there must be 40,000 hives in this area of Turkey which is the major honey producing area! We had no problems... This is a wonderful place, very tranquil and relaxing, unless you dislike country sounds (cockerels crowing, goats bleating and of course the hooting of owls at night!). We absolutely loved it and think anyone with a soul would do so too! (more)Lynne Evans
