I loved the time spent in Machico, its a lovely place to relax after a day walking. However, the best for me was the walking up in the North (I think it was the North) where Madeira is luscious and the scenery is spectacular.

Excellent... Just the views on the walks were amazing. Also the company of the other members of the groups was fantastic and the tour leader was excellent.
