The most memorable part was Abai Jungle lodge - so remote and romantic, plus tons of wildlife. It felt like the first time you visited a zoo.
(more)Most memorable? Diving with a dozen turtles off the coast of Sipadan and visiting the local villagers of Mabul. And then of course to see wild Orangutans in their natural environment. (more)In Borneo we met and travelled with like minded families and individuals, who along with good humoured guides added enormously to the pleasure of the trip. It was excellent and would thoroughly recommend for those who are adventurous, like variety and don't mind a bit of roughing. (more)There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists!
