One of the best holidays I have been on. The itinerary was really well designed and the holiday was well organised. We really got off the tourist map and saw some amazing sights.
(more)There were so many highlights to this holiday which covered so many countries... Staying the night in a hilltribe village in northern Thailand, snorkling on the coral reefs around Ko Phi Phi, 4x4 driving, drinking tea in a tea plantation in the Cameron highlands...exploring great cities like KL and Singapore. Fantastic, but tough going at times!
(more)In Borneo we met and travelled with like minded families and individuals, who along with good humoured guides added enormously to the pleasure of the trip. It was excellent and would thoroughly recommend for those who are adventurous, like variety and don't mind a bit of roughing. (more)The guides were excellent and very flexible, willing to change schedules if possible to suit our needs, the transport always turned up exactly on time, the accommodation was exactly as described and the places visited were all breathtaking in their beauty and animal and plant life. (more)We had some amazing experiences. The most memorable part of the holiday was snorkelling and trying scuba diving in the Perenthian Islands off the East coast of Malaysia. Beautiful scenery, welcoming people and a real chance to recharge the batteries and relax! (more)The climax of the holiday definitely was the final ascent of Mount Kinabalu, arriving at the summit at sunrise. Amazing feeling of being on top of the world - very beautiful and physically challenging.
