Learn to scuba dive in the Red Sea
Excellent - if you want a friendly open hearted place to stay and learn to dive then I couldn't recommend it more highly. (more)katherine Church
Do not hesitate to book this holiday! The people are fantastic, the place is beautiful and the more relaxed nature of the area due to its more remote location made for a far more relaxing holiday than you would have at other resorts in the region The whole operation was centred around local people and the local economy. We were actively encouraged to reduce our environmental impact and respect the environment which we were lucky enough to see (more)Gareth Jones
Everything was fantastic but the most memorable part was the diving. We went diving every day and saw lots of coral and fish. Staying with this operator was also very relaxing. They looked after us wonderfully, everything we wanted was provided and nothing was too much trouble. (more)Diederik Kohnhorst

Hannah (11) loved swimming in the Dead Sea, Ciaran (15) loved climbing, the cycle ride and the history in Jerash, Little Petra and Petra, Luke (51) loved the camel journey, Jo (50) loved sitting round the fire with the Bedouins and trading gifts and tea with the Bedouin women in their tents. The most memorable parts of the holiday were Camel ride round the Pyramids (you do have to barter hard), Abel Simbel and best of all Valley of the Kings. (more)Jo Carter
The whole holiday has been a dream of mine for 25 years and it more than lived up to expectations. The pyramids, temples and tombs were amazing. The Nile cruise was 10 times better than we expected - lovely staff and surroundings, especially the surprise animals made out of towels on our beds each night! (more)Janice Gould
The whole Egypt holiday was memorable and each part was different and equally exciting. Spent a few days in Cairo seeing the sights - the Pyramids are phenomenal. (more)Irene Ennenga

Family holiday to Jordan, Journey to the Lost City
At the risk of sounding over the top with enthusiasm I would answer "All of it" to this question. We went to Jordan and returned renewed, stimulated and educated and with a new understanding of the culture, history and politics of the Middle East. This was in in no small way due to the effort and enthusiasm of our guide, Usama Awad. Are all of this companies guides as brilliant as he was? (more)Fiona O
It was a very inspirational holiday...Staying at Dana guesthouse supported a very important nature biosphere. (more)sharyn hall
This trip delivered everything we wanted, adventure, relaxation, new experiences - without having to think too much after a busy year, thanks to our wonderful guide. (more)Tania Riddiford

Memorable parts? Getting to see all the wonderful sights, ancient temples and treasures, sailing down the Nile and meeting local families in their homes. Tips? Be prepared for a packed itinerary and early starts. Take a sleeping bag liner for the felucca trip. Local benefits? Yes, we ate twice with local families plus trips were made with local contacts, boat owners and donkey owners! Overall rating? Excellent trip - covered all the highlights in a week (more)Julie Forshaw

Egypt tailor made holidays
The trip on a Dahabiya "Princess Donia" was the most memorable moment. Floating so gracefully down the Nile in the sanctuary of such a small boat with only 10 passengers and being so graciously cared for by the 9 staff. (more)Caroline Blundell
The most memorable part was sightseeing in Egypt - guided tours in Cairo. (more)Michael Salomon

Red Sea diving holidays
Everything the club provided was of the first order, be it the fantastic dive instructors, who never failed to make my holiday fun and engaging; the well-thought out and delightful accommodation; safe and well-maintained equipment; and the friendly, caring and enthusiastic staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone thinking about a scuba diving holiday. (more)Ben Moss
The diving was fantastic. This is definitely the place to go if you want to dive and snorkle. Itís a great location too, near the main stretch but far enough away to allow you to enjoy your peace and quiet. (more)Amanda Okill
The most memorable parts were my first dive as a qualified open water diver & being able to enjoy watching all the colourful fish and corals. (more)Jenny Tither

Iran cultural holiday
Memorable parts? Isfahan followed very closely by Yazd. It was good to have free time in which to explore the cities and meet the people. Tips? Iran is not as unsafe as sometimes portrayed in the press and media. The people were very friendly and helpful and there was no obvious police presence. Dress for women was not as strict as expected and although the headscarf was a given, many wore fashionable clothes in bright colours without being covered by a black chador. Be prepared... Oman family holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? There were many memorable bits. Watching the turtles return to sea while the sun was rising, sledging down the dunes with my children, swimming in the Wadi's. Not sure I can choose only one. Tips? Don't try and squeeze too much into it. There are some lovely hotels and locations but we often found ourselves arriving just at or after sunset and leaving early the next morning. Local benefits? We were aware of the conservation side of things but not really... (more)Jane Skinner

Iraq Kurdistan holiday
Memorable parts? The visit to the battlefield of 331BC Guagemela where Alexander the Great defeated Darius III was particularly good because of the excellent talk on the history and strategy employed. However the scenery in the mountains, the Kurdish people and the many historic and cultural site were all interesting and memorable. Tips? The more you have read about the area first the more I think you get from the trip. Be prepared to be flexible and enjoy it as it comes. Local... (more)Jenny Maddick

Jordan holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? The Feynan lodge is a terrific place to stay, and the walk down from Dana is a very enjoyable one, through surprisingly varied scenery. Tips? Jordan is a very friendly, welcoming country, with plenty to see and do. It is quite compact, so there are not long distances to travel. We stayed for 10 days, and would happily have stayed longer, but equally it makes a good destination for a shorter break as well. Local benefits? Yes, to a large extent. It is a pity... Cruise and swim with dolphins in Egypt
Memorable parts? Put simply, this is probably one of the best holidays I've ever been on and this is largely down to the exceptional customer care that this company offers both in the UK and in Egypt. The highlight of course was swimming with wild dolphins out in a protected reef in the middle of beautiful clear blue sea. Beyond that though the location, the food, the helpfulness of the staff, the accommodation and the attention to detail were all excellent. 2. What tips would you give... (more)Candida Perkis

Nile cruise & cultural holiday, Egypt
The tour guides provided historical background and information on the sights to stimulate our imagination and awe. Ahmed, our guide in Luxor and Aswan was knowledgeable, answered all our questions and patiently taught us to read hieroglyphics carved in the temples. (more)Hou-Yin Ma
My most memorable part of my holiday was my visit to The Pyramids of Giza, Abu Simbel and Karnak Temple. Part of the reason I consider my entire trip memorable is because of my tour guides. (more)Mary Lyons
Most memorable? I think the Pyramids at Giza and the paintings in the tomb of Ramses I, or perhaps it was the gold mask of Tutankamun, or was it the statue of Ramses II at Memphis... it was always a jaw-dropping moment at each place we visited. (more)Amanda Bristow

Exciting family holiday in Oman
Memorable parts? There are too many to mention but overall the trip was wonderful. We had an outstanding time and would return to Oman in a heartbeat. Tips? While we loved seeing the countryside, we dislike riding in a car for more than 2 hours at a time in the space of a day. The distances weren't that long and of course were necessary to cover in order to see the sites. Nevertheless, I'd be more discriminating on time spent in the car and ability to move around between longer... (more)Patterson Jeneva

We visited Jordan and Egypt to take in the cultural and historical aspects of the countries and we were not disappointed. Amazing wonderful sights in perfect weather. (more)John Robinson
Our tour was organised brilliantly. We felt safe at all times and the guides were knowledgeable. The 3 day cruise on the Nile was the best part (more)Angela Guildford

Nile felucca cruise in Egypt
Memorable parts? Waking up as the sun rose over the milky waters of the Nile was pretty incredible. Walking on the sandy banks and washing as the fishermen and farmers arrived for their work was truly magical. Tips? Bring some mosquito repellent and a sheet or sleeping bag liner. The blankets provider are warm but you'd want something between you and them. Wake up for sunrise. Be prepared for plans to change slightly as wind and currents are your masters. Local benefits? You... (more)Dominic Kelly

The most memorable parts of the holiday were the Guide Waleed, unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble. Sufi dancing (an optional event) was stupendous. Felucca overnight. Valley of Kings - King Tuts tomb. Snorkelling in Red Sea. (more)Helen Golden
Very difficult to pick out any individual highlights as the whole tour was incredible...Definitely ten out of ten. (more)Roger Stead

Best of Egypt and Jordan holiday
Memorable parts? The BEST thing about our trip was the absolutely wonderful service we received from the tour company. Tips? Don't settle for the "usual" tour, do your research, decide what you want to see and talk to your tour company. The operator helped us create the tour that was perfect for us. Local benefits? Yes, our holiday benefited the local people. Tourist are staying away from Egypt because they are concerned about the political instability. But we had a wonderful... (more)Janie Kuczer

Small group tour of Jordan
Memorable parts? Walking around Petra on a beautiful sunny day, we had the whole place practically to ourselves - and then walking back at sunset when all the sandstone turning pink, breath taking. We also had a fun night at the Bedouin camp and had a good laugh floating around the Dead Sea! Tips? Wrap up warm for Amman's cold evenings. Try the Turkish baths, not as relaxing as we expected but surely will leave you with some good stories to tell Local benefits? It is a good... (more)Chiara Talamonti
