10/10 - would love to stay again, a weekend is not enough (more)Natalie Stone
If you want to relax, this ticked all the boxes. We came back refreshed and fully benefitting from our week away. (more)jayne ellis
We had a nice, quiet break at the straw bale cabin. The cabin was well equipped with cooking ingredients, utensils, crockery etc so we were able to spend time preparing nice meals before curling up and reading or listening to our little radio. With the veranda, pond , apple trees, allotment and surrounding farm land we felt close to nature. (more)Michele Rogers

Fantastic. Lovely cottage, very well stocked and furnished. Very friendly and helpful owner. The cottage is spacious and in bad weather you can sit and gaze into the garden and listen to the birds. (more)Helena Poldervaart
We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting. (more)C Sharkey

Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy. (more)Naomi Dunn

Wooler bed & breakfast accommodation, Northumberland
Memorable parts? Glorious sunshine for five days in Northumberland and walking in the Cheviot Hills, only seeing one other person in 5 hours. The huge variety and quantity of easily observable wildlife on the walks and the totally empty sandy beaches. Very welcoming owners, well appointed accommodation. Tips? You can expect 1950s volume of traffic on the roads once you get north of Newcastle.... such a refreshing experience. It adds so much to the relaxation benefits of the short... (more)Helene Kerr

Northumberland farmstay holiday, England
Our stay was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, David and Jackie. From the welcoming tea and biscuits on arrival, to our departure, all was everything you could possibly wish for. The setting is absolutely stunning, with views over the owners farmland. The accommodation is spotless, and it obvious from the many nice touches, that a lot of thought and effort has gone into every aspect of this very personal B&B. (more)Peter Carney
From £35 per person per night
