Just a lovely relaxing time - bike routes well marked, flora & fauna interesting, pubs perfectly placed for provisions....Really good. Off peak, so avoided crowds. B&B accomodation was lovely - spacious, hospitable & accomodationg.
(more)We loved the location of the straw bale cabin, right in the middle of a working farm, beautiful countryside all around. The only noises the sounds of the animals and birds. Bliss for get away from it all city dwellers. (more)We were intrigued to stay in a house made of straw bales and to see how recycling/ reuse can be put into practice and good effect.- we were not disappointed! We found the photo albums showing the building of the house really interesting.

Our stay was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, David and Jackie. From the welcoming tea and biscuits on arrival, to our departure, all was everything you could possibly wish for. (more)Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy.
