Not seeing any other people for days at a time was unreal and exciting. Coming across a reindeer herd migrating to their summer home was the biggest highlight...This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, filled with challenges and rewards!
(more)Ingrid, the instructor, was fantastic... The snow conditions and weather were perfect, and the trails varied and interesting. The hotel was great, very friendly staff and very comfortable, and the food was plentiful and well prepared. (more)The whole experience was very memorable and exciting, from arriving at Ivalo airport in - 30 c, the accommodation at the Husky Lodge is very special, the dogs amazing and the mushing both adrenalin bursting and tranquil. This holiday was a 'once in a lifetime' except that we will do it again!
