I am reborn! Simply the best holiday I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
The views from the rooms are breath taking. The owners go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is as perfect as possible...A unique and restful experience which we hope to be able repeat one day. After only five nights we came home feeling recharged and with many fond memories. (more)Nick Medhurst
Best holiday ever... The tour of the old city of Nice and the trip to the village of Tourettes the St Jeannet winery and the cooking class with Corrine were truly memorable. (more)Vicki Wright
We stayed at the house for 4 nights with our teenage boys and we were so happy we did. Corinne and Benoit make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive...It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in France! Benoit does great excursions so highly recommend you go on his tours too!
Enjoy the incredible wines, the food, the countryside, the local hill towns. (more)Scott Beveridge
One of the best holidays we have ever been on. We'd like to give it six stars. (more)Mo Calow
The area is lovely and unspoilt and the facilities and the welcome you will receive here are second to none...would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, and indeed are hoping to return again next year. (more)John Caswell
It is the best holiday weve had in France and that's from a perspective of over 40 years holidaying in France...The walking in the beautiful mountains in the Mercantour with snow, sun, isolation and good companions. Why did I reach 67 before finding this most beautiful place? (more)Tony Bell
The Alpes-Maritimes and Mercantour National Park is a fantastic area to visit and we would consider this to be one of our best holidays. (more)Lourdes Roffey
We loved the autumn walking in the Parc du Mercantour, in fact our walk to the Lac de Negre was probably the prettiest walk we have ever done. (more)Mary Dracup
Excellent. We travelled with young family and would certainly stay again so cannot recommend it too highly. (more)ROSIE KELBRICK
A really worthwhile and memorable holiday: the self guided walks were well planned and gave us a great idea of the locality; the food was very good and the garden(s) excellent for relaxing on our days off. We were given a very warm welcome and a friendly stay. (more)Jon Nay
Amazing 360 degree views on the walks in the Maritime Alps and the relaxed but informative approach of our guide Mel. The gite is very comfortable and well equipped and the food which was prepared by Liz was delicious and varied.
Searching for whales, being greeted by dolphins, snorkelling above seahorses leave a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I feel truly privileged to have been a part of the ecolodge and Dominican way of life, even if it was just for 2 weeks. (more)Nicola Beldham
We had a wonderful time at the eco lodge in Dominica; I can't recommend this highly enough. It's beautiful, unspoiled, and absolutely perfect for families, and is a genuine example of positive interaction with the local community and environment. (more)Lee Jenkins
The whole trip was amazing the tree house, the family dinners, the fruit, the waterfalls. (more)Rachel Donahue
The accommodation had everything we needed and the owners were welcoming and informative. It was a good overall experience. (more)Rachel Pettitt
Very relaxing and the cottage was wonderful to come back too at the end of the
day, or have a break during the day. (more)Colin Ingram
Exactly the relaxing break we needed and more....The cottage was wonderful and the views superb. We did some great walking and some amazing eating. The farmhouse breakfast has to be described as memorable -delicious! (more)Kathy Longford
Overall we would rate our holiday 10 out of 10 and fully intend to visit again in the spring, when the wild flowers are blooming. The vineyard is one of the nicest places we have stayed - just what we needed after a stressful year in our business. (more)Helen Maggs
The highlight was the welcoming nature of our host family who shared with us not only their beautifully and painstakingly restored property with its breathtaking view of their terraced vineyard, but also their time, thoughts, knowledge, skills and family fun. (more)Lee Anne Wallach
It was a beautiful setting, away from all distracting technology, right in the middle of the country side. A very warm and welcome environment. Inspiring to enjoy nature. (more)Maja Pertot Bernard
The hospitality was very warm and welcoming - and the rooms and house were delightful. Lots of lovely touches - organic food and organic bath products and a bar of chocolate from Oxfam. (more)Joanna Hughes
Staying in such a beautiful location and being able to walk on the Malverns again was the highlight. (more)Becky Rathmell
It was beautifully tranquil and we felt totally relaxed as soon as we arrived. (more)moragh roddy
Seeing the storks in the fields and on specially built nest platforms; the large size of the property we were staying in; the fact that we seemed to be the only tourists there; and the public swimming pool at Karsinkabarca...Wonderful - would do it again - and that says something coming from us.
The most memorable parts were the surrounding countryside; relaxing at the cottage and the garden; the caves; our walks (especially walking to Slovakia); trying to pronounce our shopping list in Hungarian; butterflies and wild flowers in the meadow... (more)Teresa Mikalauskas
