South Africa Safari holiday, 14 days
10/10 it was amazing. We were so well looked after and treated as part of the family at our main resort. it was very hectic as we stayed at 6 locations so it involved a lot of travelling. but now we are back, we realise how much we packed in and how much we saw. it was a trip of a lifetime for us, so we really appreciate all the things we gained from our trip and are now saving hard to go again!! Indochina overland holiday
Memorable parts? An excellent way to see Indochina - airport to airport guided tour - with everything taken care of - excursions, hotels, transport, etc. The people are amazingly friendly, the scenery is superb, all very refreshing. Halong Bay and Angkor Wat stick out just a bit above the rest of the places we visited. Tips? There is no hard walking or trekking - but you still need to be reasonably fit to climb mountainside steps, and squat walk thru small tunnels - if you want. Local... (more)Vinod Mehta

Skye and the Inner Hebrides cruise, Scotland
Memorable parts? We were a small and delightful group of 6 travelers and 4 crew, including the skipper and a fabulous chef. We all got to know one another very well. The boat was cozy and comfortable, the landscapes and cloudscapes, sublime; and the day trips and hikes, especially our visit to Iona and its sacred and ancient abbey were vitamin C for the spirit. Tips? Bring waterproof clothing and shoes. One day the water was rough and the wind was very strong. Those of us who... (more)Patricia Knowles

Amalfi coast easy walking holiday, Italy
Memorable parts? It is difficult to identify just one part as the whole holiday was wonderful. I think the views from the last two walks were spectacular - Valle delle Ferriere and Sentiero degli Dei. Tips? Be prepared for hundreds of steps but well worth the climb up and down as every view is stunning. Local benefits? Definitely, in the attention to using local restaurants, shops and public transport. Overall rating? It was amazing. June and Aubrey are welcoming,... (more)Hannah Wilson

Burma is such a fabulous country to visit - our itinerary included one or more highlights every day. The crowning glory of our tour was our guide Po. He looked after our group of six as if we were family. (more)Stephanie Diggon
It was all new and exciting for that reason …… very heart warming to see what is flourishing in Myanmar and also fearful that some not such good things come with the advent of more tourism. Our trip to Pagan and Inle Lake are the highlights for me. (more)Jane Edington
The most memorable parts are hard to choose between the wonder of Shwedeagon Pagoda with all it's glittering gold, river journey down the Ayeyarrwady and first sight of Bagan, then cycling around it, relaxing time on Inle Lake, and visiting the botanic gardens in Pyin U-Lwin and the hills of Kalaw. Japan golden route holiday
Memorable parts? We enjoyed it all. The travel arrangements all worked perfectly. Hotels were fine. Amy at the tour operator was terrific. Tips? 6 hour day tour of Tokyo was a bit stressful for seniors, in the amount of stairs and walking particularly between subways. The guide could have given us more options for traveling. Two tour guides to Geisha district were poor and overly talkative The tour and experience was great. The two tour guides in Tokyo and daytime Kyoto were... (more)Howard Rosenthal

Memorable parts? Swimming in the sea below the ancient monastery at San Fruttuoso after a hot walk was just magical! Tips? The walks look short, but involve a lot of up and down so are more challenging than they initially appear. But the views make them absolutely worthwhile. Local benefits? It appeared there was a big effort to preserve the natural areas that were part of the walk. Overall rating? It was wonderful (more)Lynn Bowie
