Mekong adventure holiday, Laos & Cambodia
Memorable parts? Every day was something different, we walked through jungle; rode elephants; explored caves and sailed in wooden boats, sometimes we used a wooden plank, sometimes we were knee deep in the river! We saw amazing temples and wooden huts that the locals lived in, we saw how people lived and how they dried peppers in their satellite dishes! There were sad parts too, understanding the legacy of the Vietnam war, unexploded bombs everywhere and maimed people. However, the people... (more)Colin Smith

Tailor made holiday in Peru
Memorable parts? EVERYTHING - it was just great! Tips? To inform themselves very early (6 month before booking) to get the most out of it. We therefore had the best holidays ever and people we met on our tour were just jealouse, because we could do all the cool stuff (we had organised the permits for Huayna Picchu, the Trek to Huchuy Qosqo etc.) Local benefits? Yes I do Overall rating? Great! (more)Barbara Buchegger
From £3350 including UK flights
Isle of Mull and west coast of Scotland cruise
Memorable parts? The whole of our holiday was wonderful. The crew were all great, friendly and so helpful. The food was delicious every meal, and plentiful too! The cruise was the best way to see some of Scotland’s beautiful scenery and wildlife. The only fault, we wished it didn't have to end! Tips? Don't forget your binoculars. Sensible shoes and a waterproof for when up on deck and the weather damp. Local benefits? I am not sure about these things as we didn't buy any... (more)julie Clease

Excellent holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend to others....An excellent way to see Indochina - airport to airport guided tour - with everything taken care of - excursions, hotels, transport, etc. The people are amazingly friendly, the scenery is superb, all very refreshing. This is foodie heaven. The cooking classes were fabulous came back with a lot of good ideas. This is holiday is run by a local couple on their own organic smallholding. As far as possible food is sourced from their own vegetable garden or local farmers and the vine from local vineyards. (more)Annette Chapman
The cookery course was fun and we made tasty but not too fiddly food, so what you learn you can put to use when you return home. (more)nicola cosgrove

Tailor made holiday in Brazil
We had a morning horse riding down a flooded area at the start, with our feet touching the water, and then across more open country; the wild flowers and birds were amazing. A 5.30 am canoe trip which was magical, so quiet and peaceful, seeing the beauty of the sun rising and hearing the early morning bird song; the canoe being so quiet we were able to get very close to birds before they flew. Later that afternoon we visited a fishing village down the river and were invited into their one room house... (more)Harvey Bromley

This was definitely a 4-star holiday!...By far the most memorable part for us was the houseboat cruise on the back waters. Tailor made Rajasthan tour, India
Memorable parts? History and culture. I enjoyed the amazing hotels we stayed in that were beautiful locations and historical. Tips? Due to distance between locations, ensure there are two nights at every hotel. There is significant time spent driving (in a car) between each location. If flying from Delhi during December / January be aware of fog delaying / cancelling flights. Local benefits? We visited local communities (e.g. Bishnoi, Samode) but not sure how it benefitted...
