A brilliant holiday which both the adults and children thoroughly enjoyed. A well organised tour, helped by a good guide and a good group of families from which we have all made some new friends.
(more)Most memorable? As I can’t swim it has to be floating in the Dead Sea. It was an unbelievable experience. I did not believe I would be able to as I did not think it would work if you cant relax to float but the sea just lifted me up and held me in the water. (more)We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candle light, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting. (more)There were several memorable parts. Seeing Petra, climbing up to the Crusader's castle with just my son and feeling as if we owned the world: seeing the Milky way for the first time as we lay on a sand dune in the desert blackness while at Wadi Rum. (more)Jordan is a very friendly, welcoming country, with plenty to see and do. It is quite compact, so there are not long distances to travel. We stayed for 10 days, and would happily have stayed longer, but equally it makes a good destination for a shorter break as well. (more)Petra was much bigger than expected, the camel ride easier, and the scenery more spectacular than we imagined... It was a great way to see a lot of Jordan quickly - a charming country with open, friendly residents.

(more)It was a five-star experience for both of us, no doubt of it: no disappointments, and a programme which gave us everything we were looking and hoping for...What we did seemed to us so much richer an experience, so much more rewarding, than we could have got from a standard package of 'highlights'.
