We could not have hoped for a better holiday. This was our first time in Sardinia, our first farm holiday, away from the beaten tracks. We spent a week and rested so much that we feel as if we've been away for months. 
(more)The best memories I take away from this holiday are of the gorgeous springtime Sardinian scenery, eating enormous home-cooked meals at the agricoturismos and of the all-round kindness and generosity of everybody we met. (more)Despite having a mobility problem, I managed 3 out of 4 walks. They were amazing and Rudy was invaluable to give me the confidence to carry on even on some quite hard terrain. The hotel turned out to be experts in gluten free cooking and so the other perfect half was the ability to eat enough food to fuel the walking. One of the most memorable parts of my trip was a snorkelling excursion along the Golfo di Orosei. Along the way, as we sailed past all the stunning beaches and caves, Cinzia gave us plenty of information about the geography and nature along the coast, but all in a very humorous and fun way. Once in the crystal clear water we were lucky enough to see a couple of weird and wonderful creatures. (more)The view from the highest point was fantastic and with air so pure we could see for miles. Scenery was stunning as was the variety of vegetation and rock formations. (more)Most memorable were the local festival, very cheap and safe horse riding 5 mins car ride form the hotel and gorgeous beach across the road from the hotel safe for children snorkling.
