Ullapool self catering cottages, Scotland
The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.  (more)

Enjoy misty lochs and glens; majestic mountains and forests; elegant cities rich in culture; castles steeped in history and picturesque towns and villages. Contributing over 60% of the British coastline and 7866 islands, Scotland has no shortage of deserted beaches and cliff-tops to walk along.

In 1998 the Tourism and Environment Forum and Scottish Tourist Board set up the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Accredited tourism businesses are assessed on all aspects of their business - from waste management and energy consumption to transport and supporting the local community
