Seeing the Dolphins (after days of fruitless searching) has to be a biggie...But being at Newbold House was for me probably the best bit of all - superb food, wonderful company and a remarkable place. (more)

Pleaching my first tree and bending it into the hedge successfully without it breaking off. The best way possible to start a new year. (more)

Most memorable was interacting with different types of people of all ages and never laughing so much in one week.  (more)

A great mix of people meant that everyone settled in and had a really enjoyable week. A great experience and something that I would love to do again. (more)

Dry stone walling in the UK
Really rewarding, extremely physically demanding and great fun... Working with a great bunch of people building a dry stone wall, enjoying the pleasant countryside... The organisation appears to have minimising the environmental impact at the forefront of their minds when delivering the holiday.  (more)

I had loads of fun – enjoyed myself much more than I ever expected, and, as an extra bonus, came away with muscles I never had (even after a week of almost constant cake-eating) I’ve already recommended it to lots of friends. (more)
From £250 excluding flights

Enjoy misty lochs and glens; majestic mountains and forests; elegant cities rich in culture; castles steeped in history and picturesque towns and villages. Contributing over 60% of the British coastline and 7866 islands, Scotland has no shortage of deserted beaches and cliff-tops to walk along.

In 1998 the Tourism and Environment Forum and Scottish Tourist Board set up the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Accredited tourism businesses are assessed on all aspects of their business - from waste management and energy consumption to transport and supporting the local community
